As DJ said, you have to press the keys before resetting and hold them until the maintenance menu appears. It should appear when the progress bar is a bit more than half full.

Also, ikj, it's not an emulator, the whole thing has been rewritten and compiled for iOS.
That's what I said (or tried to say) but in more detail, yes.

It isn't a real emulator and it avoids the thing Apple doesn't want above all other things: it doesn't make running binaries possible. But I think Apple also doesn't want Lua...

Has Apple really dropped that restriction?

Pulling an app and indicating that the cause is security-related isn't necessarily very smart a move for Apple / TI. Differential code analysis, should anyone undertake it, could pinpoint the problem and hint for attack vectors.
"Security issue" could also mean that Apple told them to remove programmability, particularly if the language is as powerful as Lua, couldn't it?

That should work, but you'd need 2.5 mm headphones.

nspireio has uart_getc() and uart_getline() implementations.

Wow, looks very nice! I would probably change the font, though (if you can find one).

I gotta start playing Anno
I have the demo of 2070, but are there any versions that are free to play?
I only have 1503 myself and didn't play 2070 yet. But I don't think there's a free version of Anno. It would be amazing to see this become reality, do it, I know how to program in C, so I might be able to help too (I never programmed C for ndless though).
That's cool A decent (graphic based) RPG would be nice to see on the Nspire, I don't think there really are, or did I miss them? I haven't seen any, either.

The problem is something with the uart_printf() and not your sin() and cos(). I don't know much about printf specifiers, but %4l doesn't seem to be valid and results in a warning (if you'd use printf instead of uart_printf, obviously). Why do you use uart_printf and not the normal printf?

If you want it to round mathematically instead of always down, use round(integer, digits). round(-9.4,0)=-9

Sure, lets do it

I had a similar problem but with an NXT (also a programmable device with a monochrome LCD) and replacing the rechargeable battery with normal batteries solved everything.

But if we can get some people, I'd be happy to program in C
I would participate in the project Also Nick, have you already chosen a game (other than The Game of life)?
