It's probably easier if you just use fread, the code you showed in the other thread seemed correct. fwrite is just the opposite and not more difficult to use.

You can also use fwrite for saving and probably have to because fprintf stores the map as text and fread reads it as ints.

Small update: (hopefully) the file browser doesn't crash anymore. I really hope it's fixed now. Report if it still crashes for you.
Apart from that I've only added a warning if you try to overwrite an existing file.

Are you thinking about opening several files ?
I voted yes for the horizontal scrolling, but we should be able to activate or no this option in a menu.

EDIT : I hope you don't forget the possibility of having a smaller font.

Seeing that it's only for calculators with 32MB of memory it would be a bit unhandy to have two of TI's large OSes on it. But the possibility by itself is cool
