Well, now that I got this much done the rest is just modding it to everything else. I am going to package it as a basic app...so any suggestion as to anything else to throw in? (I am thinking of putting in some functions like fpart( and ipart( replacements, as well as maybe a "Xlib Wizzard GUI" or something to speed the making of tile maps and other stuff ...maybe some prefabricated sprites to {PD})

I don't think I will add 4/5 level support...it would be to slow to generate. :angry:mad.gif

(if the image doesn't work right, open it in ie)

I am making a number of programs that together will ease the production of 3 level gray scale (B/G/W).  So far, it can take two pictures next to each other on a graph screen and over write them as dithered LD grayscale ready pictures.  I am working on adding support for up to 32X32 sprites, as well sprites on diffrent pictures, and I plan to make a tool to aid in the drawling of pictures.  The picture's speed is not accurate, it is faster on calc...but still takes a little while.  So to recap:
8X8 LD side by side dithering:complete
8X8 or:and/or side by side:complete
up to 32X32:sometime
diffrent pic, corrospondingX/Y: sometime
Drawling tools: in progress

Ok, it works for three level...I still need to test four level.  The question is, would you rather have a version that just gives you a 8X8 grid to adjust the values of, and just give out the 0/1 pattern for each buffer of the sprite or should I make a complex method to draw the sprites?

6X6 explination:
screen displays a 8X8 area, I don't want to have to do any special aligning to prevent you from going into a wall in another room...so, if they are 6X6 then the next rooms are displayed to.

data from rooms:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and Current as the are displayed on screen

yes, it uses xlib...though I may use the regular(non-app) one so I could bundle all of the data into a asm file or flash app via basic and builder and make it 83 compatible.
Also, I am making it because Rouge(83+flash) is such an uterly crappy game...when Angband and such are are so awsome.

There are more than enough Christian divisions, all saying that they're right. What puts one over the other?

Very good point.

We have to stick to what the Bible says. We cannot add any human reasoning to it. The Bible was written with an "original intent"... meaning it cannot have 500 different meanings from 500 different people. Many of us like to think this is true. We tend to think, "I believe this scripture means this." When, it is quite possible, it means something completely different. It is our job to seek the original intent and not what we want it to be.

Always question what you believe and be open to other interpretations or rebuttal. This will only help you to grow. Always continue to search for the truth.

Can this be done perfectly? Probably not. But, we should do our best. That is what is expected of us.

You do know the torah makes no mention of an after life, don't you?  Heaven and hell are concepts of the new testemant.

Well, if you are wondering how it looks, here is the first room (room 0, only on level 0...and prevents you from going beyond as it lacks any up stair cases)

the rooms are all 6/6 BTW, and for a very good reasons...

also, I have finished my list of commands and am programming each command...some might not happen

About the death thing...

I feel the main reason people fear death is because our mind can't understand not being able to open our eyes, move our bodies, etc.

As it has been said, humans fear things they don't understand, and death is one thing we don't completely comprehend...

that is the whole thing thougj, as an committed aethiest, I know I am just plain and simply going to die.  That is that, no hell, no heavon, just infinity.  In having something I could so thouroughly believe, death became a non-factor of life and I don't think about it.

It was like this when I was christian:
will heaven be nice, will I go to hell, what if death is the end, what if hindu's were right, what about muslims...question after question to dwell and worry about

Now:
I die, that is that.  No pain, no question, nothing but an ending...and nothing to do about it either...so who cares, live what time you have

Former atheist, now a Christian. :)smile.gif

I used to drink, smoke, chew tobacco, and anything else bad for you... I probably did it. Jesus has changed my life for the better. I wonder if I would still be here today if it was not for the grace of God.

I hope that I am not judged for that... I hope nobody is judged for what they believe. :)smile.gif

And... I hope this thread does not get out of hand.

Now everybody get back to coding.  :woot:woot.gif

wow, that is the exact opposite of me...I used to cut (mutulation), drink, ect.

Most notably, I am not as afraid of dying since I became aethist.  You won't exist to know your dead, so it realy won't matter by the time it happens.  It being that simple, you don't have to worry about "what if I am wrong and I wasted my life" and all that stuff.

And spirits are...well, I would say I am not so sure they don't exist as my old house had some weird stuff happen (it was haunted me and my sister think) but wether that is godly or not is a totaly diffrent question...

would be cool :)smile.gif

5 level grayscale isnt really worth it for z80 calcs, 4 level do a good job, but would be cool anyway for title screens :)smile.gif

well, I came up with my own way and I am working on a basic program to create a sprite and put it onto the pics of your choice with dithering, I also found that dithering/interlacing entire pics of gray scale in 4 or 5  would be incredibly slow and complex in basic (and would require a large amount of free ram, lots of masterful string manipulation, ect) so I stopped trying at it.

hope to get it up and working soon for upload.

ah cool then. I wish I had a program that takes a grayscale sprite (3 level, 4 level, 5 level, etc) and make all the layers with checkered pattern I need for making grayscale in my BASIC games, that would save me lot of time for sprite making, which is the hardest part of making grayscale games in BASIC

could you make a demo of the grey scale effects showing how you interlaced the pics...maybe I could come up with some thing
