Other Calculators / New TI-Nspire CX-C CAS and TI-Nspire CM-C... Poor
« on: August 02, 2011, 02:50:20 am »
TI China site shows two new kinds of NSpire... CX-C CAS and CM-C...for Chinese users...
It says CX-C CAS will have an e-dictionary in the next OS. And CM-C has only 32MB RAM.

I don't think the white one looks nice. And as for the dictionary... I really don't think it can help ti get more market shares in China. :P

I can always find some grammar mistakes when I read my posts...   x.x

*TI becomes more and more eggache.

I have an idea to translate omnimaga news... And I did some several months ago. Sometimes I gave the link to omnimaga to others. Sometimes I translated. Sometimes I just copy and paste the news and add a Chinese title.

Another idea is a [translate section]. Really hope articles on ti-bank can be translated... ;)

General Calculator Help / <Solved> Any Link software on Ubuntu?
« on: July 29, 2011, 07:53:45 am »
Hey all, I wonder are there any link softwares for 89 and NSprie on Ubuntu?
And...recently I got my new TI-89 titanium and my younger brother got his new TI-NSpire CX CAS.  ;D
We bought them from TI China Agent. TI-89 titanium cost 1550 RMB and CX CAS cost 1750 RMB. Aren't they more expensive than the prices in western country? Though they are all made in China.. :P

Hello, I'm Northern Snow from PRC. One person in our forum (fxesms.5d6d.com) has a nSpire touchpad and he installed os 1.1. Then he found the keyboard was confusion. So he wanted to install os 2.1 again but he selected the file of os 1.7 by mistakes. And os 1.7 runs very terrible on touchpad -- the handheld start, disp a black screen and then reboot.
We know on nSpire with clickpad we can use ctrl+p+home+on to enter the maintenance options and delete the os, but on nSprie with touchpad on and home is the same key. And I didn't find any way to delete the os.
What can he do?

And computer link software does not recognize the handheld

Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad English.
