Other Calculators / Re: My new useless Nspire
« on: February 15, 2011, 01:50:30 am »
Cool~
I called TI Agent in China just now.
I said:
I bought an NSpire CAS from foreign site and it costs 100+
There is a square on the left top... I can't install any of the OS.
Then they recognized that it was a development version and it should use special development OS.
I asked for that OS, but he don't agree to give me one...
Of course, it's a special internal version.

Amazing!!!
I have seen this sign before!!!
I have been to the Agent of TI in China on the day that OS 2.1 was released, and I saw this sign on their NSpire CAS (Clickpad). It seemed that they were using that NSpire to test OS 2.1 before it was release. [You know OS 2.1 firstly supports Chinese]
When I asked them what that square mean, they didn't say very clearly. They said I can filling for TI to get a "key". I didn't know what that meant then. But later, when I talked about this question again these days, they said it was the sign of the TI-Navigator. Absolutely, it's impossible!
Sorry for my bad English... I just think that maybe it's for testing.

CASIO fx-82es (VerA x2  VerB x1)
CASIO fx-82MS (ROM025)
CASIO fx-95es plus (VerA)
CASIO fx-3800p (Screen is broken)
CASIO fx-3600pv
and my only graphic calculator: TI-NSpire CAS with Clickpad

I even don't know where the source code on Subversion trunk is... Maybe it's a silly problem... But I really don't know what to do. HELP...

TI-NSpire BASIC is better than Brainf*ck and Whitespace if it's with CAS I think. After all, NSpire BASIC is useful to solve math problems...

Ndless is programmed in C or NSpire Assembly, not C++, but it's more or less the same.
Oh I see...

i know nspire_Basic, it's almost impossible to make good stuff
Well I have played some very good games on NSpire like TI RPG2 (by Superbany
) and Solitaire (Elliot Way).
Some activities made by TI are also very good, but I can hardly understand how it works... And even TI can make a tns file as READ-ONLY Type.

And again... I uploaded Monopoly and DIC_Transfer in the post.
And making good stuff with some graphics needs huge patient... You should use plot scatter or point to draw...

(I don't think my description is very clearly... Sorry for my bad English)

Hello everyone~
I am a junior high school [Grade 9] student from P.R.C.
I am 14 years old.
I have a TI-NSpire CAS and it's my only graphic calculator....
I know a little English, but I don't know French.
TI-BASIC is the only programming language that I know...

Nice picture! Also, TI Nspire Basic or Ti-8x nspire basic?

Also, can you use ndless? A new ndless programmer would be cool :)

EDIT: WELCOME

Of course it's TI-NSpire BASIC. I can USE ndless (I mean, install it on my handheld...) but I don't know C++ or SDK...

TI-BASIC is the only programming language that I know...

Welcome!

Do you have any projects that you're working on?

Also, don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. There are a lot of really good programmers here who are always willing to help.

Yes... I uploaded Monopoly and DIC_Transfer in the post. These are my works. But the projects are nealy stopped.

Oh, I do another program DIC_Transfer. It's used to make a dictionary by two words lists... I mean... it can translate the words as strings in a list into variables......

Here is my work.

Well, I programmed a game named Monopoly (With another person). You can find it on TICALC (But I haven't upgraded it because i forgot my username and password on TICALC 囧). The latest version is 1.3. I don't think it's successful... And it still has some bugs. So the project of Monopoly is nearly stop. I don't have much time because there are a lot of tests...
And I designed another program, it's used to make a dictionary on NSprie.
And Bruce55 is also a Chinese.
