TI-Nspire / Java for nspire?
« on: February 08, 2012, 10:02:37 pm »
I was thinking to today to myself about what would be really cool. Then I thought of something, a virtual machine thingy that would allow nspires to run simple java programs, like GridWorld for those who know what that is.

Other Calculators / Should I get a TI-92/200
« on: February 08, 2012, 12:11:55 pm »
I know someone who might be willing to sell me a TI calculator with a QWERTY keyboard, but they are not sure weather it is a 92 or a 200. I am thinking of buying it so that i can say i have one, but i already have the TI-nspire CX CAS and i do not know if it is worth it. Any suggestions?
another unrelated question, is anyone thinking of making a web browser for the CX using the TI navigator wifi attachment? that would be really cool.

This sucks, because This key layout does not work for me in my Calculus class.
I did have nDless 3.1 installed. I do not know if this was the problem.

Did anyone else have this problem or have any suggestions?

UPDATE: The calculator was miraculously fixed, but just in case there was just a loose wire that fell back into place, I am getting a replacement from TI. I had emailed them about my problem but spelled "Broken" as "Briken" and as a result, the service email I received was in Danish. I was able to use Google Translate to read it, but it was still quite hilarious.

I am a ti-84, ti-nspire with touchpad, and a ti-nspire CX CAS user. I have some experience for coding in the ti-nspire basic language and used it to compete in the American Computer Science League. I am from Alaska in the U.S.
