ah, ok thanks.
do you think there's any way this could have been what was causing the garbled text issue, eeems? it certainly seemed liked an interrupt issue. i can't svn checkout the new code to test, though, because my father has blocked google.code again. 1023

Darl, it isn't as if you're copying over entire plot elements/tilesets from another game. you're using a single routine which you wrote yourself, so i don't think there will be any penalty.

News / FLASHY - 83/4 series boot code modification« on: July 02, 2011, 04:13:32 am »
In response to TI's addition of anti downgrade protection to their recently updated bootcodes, Brandon Wilson has created Flashy, a program which can directly modify the boot code of a ti-83+SE, 84+, 84+SE, or the brand new ti-84 pocket. With the new ability to modify the boot code of these models, it is now possible to remove every last trace of Texas Instruments code from these calculators and replace it with custom made code. However, doing so is EXTREMELY dangerous, as any errors that may occur will result in the device being insta-bricked. TI-Bank states that Flashy allows bootcodes to:
-be upgraded -be downgraded -be custom modified -be swapped between models (essentially allowing one model to 'become' another, although differences in hardware will still be an issue) This program (which can be found here) has several features included to help avoid anything awful happening to your calculator, but you should still be absolutely certain that you know what you're doing before attempting to use it. 1031

like i said, it was a misunderstanding. dj has fantastic english, but his primary language is french and there are still a couple of phrases here and there that he hasn't heard before.

hmm, i think this might have been a bit of a misunderstanding, samebull. recently we've had a bunch of trolls and the like, and not all of our members are primarily english speakers, so such things can sometimes happen. misunderstandings like that are easily avoidable by using sentences that are clearly understandable and convey your ideas efficiently.
of course, i'm not saying you should avoid a few jokes every now and then ![]() 1033

name: isa shmibs!
class: mage personality: he's just a bit insane. he talks to inanimate objects and has a scary, high-pitched laugh that finds its way into almost everything he says. he is good-intentioned, but doesn't always think about how his actions will affect others (i.e. in order to save someone's pet hamster that has run underneath a house his first reaction would be to knock the house down and retrieve it) stats: Spd Mag Skl Def Hp Res Str chibi and portrait: below (i'm not sure what sizes they're supposed to be, so resizing is probably in order) other sprites: i'm working on customs at the moment EDIT: i finished the first of my custom sprites. this is taking forever, but i like the way this one turned out at least. 1034
