Official Contest / Re: Cage Match #4: Puzzle with a Plot« on: January 07, 2011, 12:10:31 am »
a fine match, fellows!
psyche was delicious because it was pretty all around (four level gray and nice graphic design, fun plot with fun wording, etc). i'm not really the sliding puzzle type, but this one had enough variety to make it fun and original. for those reasons, it is my choice. -notes for the other fellows- michael_lee: it was a bit easy, and the graphics were a little messy, but i liked the smooth scrolling very much, and i was infinitely amused by the sprite change when the character is left motionless for a while ![]() happybob: fun-fun plot ![]() i figured out the controls, but they were a little annoying. thtill, nice controls and picture-drawing skillage. to everybloody: what's with all the sliding puzzles?! 1294
BatLib / Re: SpriteLib« on: January 05, 2011, 08:53:49 am »
well, in this screenie it is reading whatever portion of a list the user desires(even from the archive), and showing off some fun drawing functions.
see you later, xeda! 1295

so far i know that the high-scoring is broken, and i found one rather disturbing bug (every now and then a column in the top section changes at random. i almost didn't notice at first, because it happens without warning, but it is very disquieting). other than that, i just need to adjust the difficulty curve and this will be in good form for an upload. thanks again, everyone!
also, i hadn't even noticed that the current cage match was about puzzle games ![]() good luck, guys. 1299

so what all types of functions would be realistically feasible for being run under this? would all bcalls work? and i heard some people asking about the VAT
regardless, compatibility of any kind would be extremely helpful! 1300

TI Z80 / Re: Mini Snake 2« on: January 03, 2011, 05:01:21 pm »
very nice, crash! from the screenie, it looks as if the player has a great deal of high-response control over the snake, allowing sharper turning, which is not an easy thing to manage in basic.

even without adjectives, the amount of data is too ridiculously huge to fit on a ti-calc. still, the idea of customisation could definitely be applied to create a huge number of fun games, such as something similar to Drawn to Life.
