one more thing!

see the teal port and the purple port? you need two dual male 3.5mm link cables connected to a 3.5mm splitter. attach a 3.5mm to 2.5mm converter to that, plug that into your calc's io port, and then run kerm's mobile tunes. the overall addition of awesome just might be enough to let you get by without having to win the game

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Axe Parser

the axe "variables" are stored in the allocated portion just before L1, are they not quigibo(im just guessing here). if i wanted to set them all to the same value with one command instead of [num]->A->B etc could i just use for(A,0,number of vars:0->{L1-[whatever the offset is]+L:end? also, i too am unsure as to how reading from the arch works(probably because i havent read the command lists in a while, but because someone else already brought it up i dont feel guilty about asking XD)

tloz, that looks like it's going to be AMAZING!

anyways, my original idea is definitely not going to be finished for the contest(although i still intend to make it at some point), but i still want to enter. i am now working on a minigame pack similar-ish to the homescreen game pack. atm i have one finished(actually, it's just the very first program i ever made in axe modified a bit to fit with other stuff and save a high score), a couple others planned out(and in one case started), and other ideas for which i am currently testing methods. apart from one exception so far, they are all completely original games and will hopefully include a few fun graphics tricks i came up with recently.
EDIT: i also have to look at the new axe manuals to figure out app compiling and modifying os vars in arch as i havent read one since 3.something :P

there is no:
passion pit
delorean
dan deacon
Arcade Fire
Paprika ost
machinarium ost
postal service
Animal Collective
mgmt
nujabes
seatbelts(bebop ost[particularly Chicken Bone])
nifflas or ninca leece(although that was to be expected)
or even omnimaga stuff! :P

wait... THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS! ok, im satisfied(i'll definitely have to make some of these songs, though)

Hey guys, check out the following thread.  SourceCoder 2.5 can now turn .bmp, .gif, and .png images into .8xi files, generate the .db statements for monochrome, 3-level grayscale, and 4-level grayscale images from any-sized sprite or image, and generate Nspire-compatible ANSI C array initialization for nibble-packed, 16-level gray images of any size up to 320x240 pixels.

WONDERFUL! i am so in(mebbe a short time limit will be enough to motivate me, as the contest seems not to have worked[im still procrastinating and at this point there's no way im making something playable]). anyways, good luck to all you other peeps. i will inevitably win, but let's make it a close match, shall we?

yeah, i made it. it's cooler on calc, because if the user manages to exit before it asplodes the os will do wonky things like displaying 50 progs named JO until the RAM is cleared or simply refusing to run anything
also, random characters displayed on the homescreen or the plot icons not appearing at the top of the screen under y=

i've been awake for three days running, have work in the morning, have a megaton of homework to complete, and my parents are angry at me, and yet this has still been the greatest day of my life to date. why? because of THESE PEOPLES. i just spent four hours of moshing in a tiny room filled with fat, sweaty nerds, and i enjoyed every single minute of it. if you havent heard them yet, do it(DO IT NAAAOO).

any other bands in particular people like to fangirl about?

Asm(00 does nothing :P (it's a nop). The relevant line is Asm(C7, which simulated pulling a battery, IIRC.
However you can crash the calc in pure Axe. Something like Fill(E8000,E7FFF should work nicely ;D

that's pretty it.
every time a box is displayed a random byte in RAM is erased(resulting in all the possible OS hijinks even if the user exits the program). even though it only directly affects the ram, im a bit hesitant to put this on a data-filled calc(i've only tried it in emu and on my disposable 83+). could this possibly mess with routines that do interact with the archive to mess things up?

that is in axe, and it uses a VERY simple function to achieve that effect(a cookie to anyone who can guess)
