Looking good! I am sure programmers in the future will find this program handy.
I am thinking about making a sprite designer program, to go along with my hex-2-sprite program. One of these days I will get around to making it... 1479

Thanks guys. I am shooting to have a beta of the game by next weekend, which I am sure is good news to some.
![]() The demo will mainly be the world map walking engine, and the in game menu. I need a break from this, as the saving routine really took it out of me, and I want to get back to Pokemon Purple, which seems to be in more demand at the moment anyways... 1480
Well, I acquired a TI-73 a lil while back, and looked through the basic games for it. There are only 35, not really a very good selection, and few, if any, rpgs. So I decided to port the 82 version of AOD ( http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/384/38494.html ) to this calc model. What I am wondering is, when I get the beta out (Which would be the prelease to the final game), I was wondering if someone had a 73 that would be willing to play the game all the way through, and test it out?
I doubt I will be able to post screenshots, unless I can find an emulator that works for the 73... 1481

Well, I have decided some of what I am going to do, I will be using a 25 pixel long status bar, for hp, sp, and xp. I can't really think of any other item that would require it, but if I do, I will also add it as well.
![]() ![]() Hopefully a screenshot by tonight, but will definitely be by tommorrow. ![]() ![]() edit: ![]() K, That is everything, except its ability to display what weapon and armor that was equipped. 1482

After a long month of having random urges from throwing my calculator at a wall, and just shooting it (Takes less effort
![]() ![]() Here are some screenshots to show the progress I have made with the menu: ![]() This shows what it looks like when you first save your game. ![]() This is what it looks like when you save on a continued file. ![]() And of course, if you are trying to save a new game on a previous file. Well, after a month of bashing my head off the desk, not caring, and sometimes having urges to just shoot the calculator, I have done it. I have finally completed the saving routine for save slot 1. Save slot 2 will be identical, and will take less than 10 minutes to complete.
Anyways, first screen shot is when you first save: ![]() The second screenshot is when you are simply overwriting a save game you are continuing: ![]() The last screenshot is when you start a new game, and want to overwrite a previous save: ![]() 1484

I think I have one more text box to make, and save feature 1 will be done. Then I just have to rewrite the code and substitute for save slot 2, and it will be done!
