Welcome to omnimaga! I'm a little late, but I figured I'd introduce myself.
that's perfectly fine. I haven't made one of these yet, and I joined in december and pretty much the only one at my middle/high school who can program a calculator.
same here In fact, the only program not created by me in my school is Illusiat 12... and I gave it to them But next year, the kids in my grade will have to get graphing calculators, so I can try to teach them.
nice  I tried doing the same, but my friends just don't really understand programming well Can't understand asm. Currently, I'm working in axe, BASIC, and unity, which has support for javascript and C#. I also like drawing, soccer, and game design.
If you can't understand ASM, try reading Hot_Dog's tutorial(if you haven't already) I found this a lot easier to understand than other tutorials Also, I'd like to offer you one(1) peanut

I recommend against the bitmap command, because it's much slower than regular 8x8 sprites. (Bitmap was written by TI, after all )
By the way what is Doodle God? 
methinks that bitmap should be fine, though, because the game doesn't put much emphasis on speed, as it's a puzzle game...
