TI-Boy SE - Game Boy Emulator For TI-83+SE/84 / Re: Help | Sorry
« on: June 03, 2011, 11:03:25 pm »
sorry for being such a noob.
I don't get a thing of how to play Pokemon with the TI-Boy.
I have a TI-84 Plus (non silver), the TI-Connect programm and downloaded 0.1.05 TI-Boy Version.

If someone could help, i would appreciat that.
well, if you have the TI-84+, you probably don't have enough RAM to play it anyway :P
after a RAM clear, how much memory do you have?
if it's around 24000, you don't have enough.

disregard my post. thanks for the correction, josjuice.

Ah... I see. You needed the sprites and stuff for that, then, and not a calc game.
Now I can see why you didn't post a project ;)

100x64? are you certain you want that? the calc screen size for the 84+ is 96x64 ;)

1) go to Profile(in the top bar ;))
2) click on 'Forum Profile Information', in the little side box.
3) at the top, it should have options for uploading avatars, or providing a URL
EDIT: Ashbad, if you post any more oversized images, I'll find all of your old avatars, make cheap MS paint walrus-related ripoffs, and post them here :evillaugh:

look at it this way:
pointers reference a certain point in your calculator's memory.
For example, L1 points to a 'safe area' of memory which you can use to store stuff.
so the pointer {L1+2} would be 2 bytes after the start of L1
To access a certain point that you previously stored, just use the same pointer again.
Code: (example) [Select]
1 --> {L1+2}      //stores 1 to 2 bytes after L1
//now to check if that byte is 1:
If {L1+2} = 1
[insert code here]
End
