Probably because they realize that allowing Asm programming allows them to limit it to keep it somewhat safe. After all, look how long it took for anyone to make any boot certificate-related programs for the 84! The Nspire, however, has seen far more development in that area thanks to it being locked down.

So, wait, does it only show the news section? There are a LOT of pointless vids in spam. I would hope it cuts those out.

But anyways, that's a cool feature!

Reo, the next firmware update shouldn't concern you unless it adds features or fixes deadly bugs (of which there are currently 0, deadly ones, that is). You can totally ignore them otherwise. The community's concern is accidental upgrades or new calcs coming with them.

If you open it in a music editing program, like finale notepad or musescore, it makes pretty decent sheet music all by itself ;)

Reminds me of the Mother series (Earthbound) but my soundfont's trumpet really sucks :P

@epic I was thinking of changing the crazy hammer notes to simple half notes :P and most of the others are quite tame.

And actually the fact that the CPU is virtually Identical lends to faster speeds than you'd expect. TI-Boy is another example of a fairly speedy z80 emu for the 84+.

Actually, I wonder how much of the syntax would have to change, especially if the Prizm supports some method of changing the currently displayed tokens....that way it could change to the standard command set.
