I bet it won't be them hosting it, they'll probably have something like the App-Signing keys, where you buy one and have it for life, but it's expensive, and you need one for each app on the calc. (at least that's how I think it works )

the others used tapes, I think.

so, does it running at 6 mhz limit other progs from running at 15 mhz? I don't think it should, but I'm not sure.

It's a banhammer of course! I don't have MS-Paint, but, I have some paint progs. Edit: Here's one

No one steal this, but I've been working on wireworld. (Read: Cellular Automata, but different) Axe's Arbitrary buffers are so useful! It's going to use px-test a lot Nice GOL! I like the scrolling screen, but I can't use it in mine with my current method. Here's an easy way to customize it, if your code is like this: Assuming your code does a sum of the pixels near it, the numbers which it checks for are variables. As in: If Cell = Dead If sum = a: Birth End End If Cell = Alive If sum = b: StayAlive End End But I don't know how yours works.

You communicate with someone on IRC, then start a game, I'd assume.

yeah. It would definitely be funner with more, but as long as the teams are balanced it's even fine with 1v1.

I see one advantage this has over mimas: Tokens are smaller than straight ASCII, if you use the commands, not just letters. If you just use the tokens for space, A-z and numbers, then it will use more, I think. Plus, it's not like it hurts to have multiple progs available for the same purpose.
May I recommend having a marker at the beginning of the file, that makes it invalid as BASIC, and makes your assembler able to see it? just a thought.

I honestly don't think that's your target market. People who would buy this already own a testing calc, like an 84+. I wouldn't care if I had to switch back for the.....wait, I don't have any more tests coming up that limit it except AP calc. and the limits on those are pretty loose. Also, ever heard of the gumstix? think beagle, but twice the cost and the size of a stick of gum. http://www.gumstix.com/store/catalog/index.php?cPath=27The kits they have are quite cheap too, with touch LCDs, and other fun stuff. http://www.gumstix.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=252That's a nice one, fairly cheap

Nah, I was interested, but really, being a calc will make little design difference just the software needs to change. Still make it awesome at programming, though!

I guess the odds would be right, but this is much easier to check Where does 3.0's 2048 protection go? in the boot2, with the other one?

well, the only difference there can be internally is changed wire positions inside. otherwise, there's not much to the cables, except the wire itself.

how is it anything like breaking a 2048-bit key? It would be as simple as parsing for numbers, and with the spaces issue, nothing a quick dissassemble can't fix and brute forcing checking the x number of spaces for all possible outcomes is way less than factoring from nothing. Also, this = 1024 bit. the CX has 2048, though, I thought I heard.

well, it's possible. I mean, the public key itself was a big accident. And don't forget OS 0.41 (43?) I don't remember, the one with printing.
