Want the story's run down?

Spoiler For David and Goliath (Goliath is the way it's spelled in the KJV):
So here's the basic story. The israelites are all living peacefully when the Palestinians attack, and a big war ensues. david was a young adolescent at the time, somewhere between 12-16. His brothers all went off to war, and he stayed home to tend the family sheep.

the brothers go to the front line, where king solomon has worked out a deal with the Palestinians: a one-on-one match, between the best warriors from either country. The winner wins the entire war, meaning the retreat of the Palestinians or the conquering of Israel. Unfortunately, the Palestinians have a really, really big guy named Goliath (that was really his name, where the term comes from) who stood about 8-12 feet tall (it was in cubits, and no one really agrees on how much that really is). No one wanted to fight him. While everyone hides, Goliath makes all sorts of derogatory comments about the Israelites and their religion.

Meanwhile.....
David's father sends him to the front line with supplies for his brothers and the army. When he arrives, he finds the situation quite disturbing, and goes and tells king solomon that he will be the one to fight Goliath. He is a faithful boy, and believes God will protect him. He eventually convinces the king, and prepares himself by gathering seven smooth stones from a riverbed, along with a sling. When he faces Goliath, the giant is suitably humored. However, David slings a stone, and strikes Goliath between the eyes, killing him instantly. The Palestinians all flee in fear of David, who is a hero, and moves on to become the king david who makes up much more of the Old Testament.

The End

Epic Journey honestly sounds a little longwinded. A Title should be short and to the point. I voted David's Journey.

Gmail can forward mail from your old account (and filter it for spam) as part of the signup process.

Here's my question: what does MS get from Internet explorer? They don't charge for it, why not simply give up the big struggle?

right, because of the whole flash drive thing. I really like that feature. Think you could do an nspire port? :P

Edit: Not of the OS (that would take about as much work as the entire z80 one, right?) I meant just the USB interface style.

Nice hidden text :P don't worry, that's what backups are for!

I wonder, what will the format be for progs? just 8xp still, would cause confusion since IIRC they're not compatible (OS hooks and such)

Well, that works if you're using only B and W tiles

You can also check to see if the tile below you on the tilemap is movable or nonmoveable. This is substantially easier if either only one tile is moveable or only one tile is nonmoveable (moveable in this case meaning you can step on it)

Is that laugh good news or bad?Like, laugh at the ridiculous idea of it being done, or laugh at how close you are, or laugh that it's already done?

Sweet! So, the new years deadline seems much more realistic to me now :P I had no idea you were this far along. It's an amazing accomplishment.

I wonder if calc84 will be done with his 83+ emu by then. If so, I'll be using this with it. :w00t:

RPG Maker Yes. Game maker, not so much :P I've seen way too much worthlessness made by that. RPG maker is harder to mess up.

Also, I'm doing a halfhearted attempt at this engine now :P If I decide to bomb it after any significant coding, I'll just put it on here. People can feel free to help. So far I've got a little bit of the timing system, and I plan on support max 3 allies (I can up it to 4 if people want it, or they can :P) And 5 monsters (Some battles need lots of little sidekicks.)

That's an asm engine that was written by benryves that appears to be a true 3d one, (at least a bit more 3d :P) since you can look up and down.
