Well, remember Jump, that one demo released for the axe contest? that seems like it would have similar physics, at least. I would hate to play sonic that slow though it's made to be fast paced.

Maybe 1,1 instead of 0,0? just beause you technically can (i think) use 0 for px-based functions doesn't mean the OS won't reject it. Just a possibility

Yeah, I have no idea how rugby's scoring system works let alone how to actually play without getting kicked out. It looks like a really cool Sonic remake. Anyone up for a calc version?

The Casio prizm, to me, looks like it probably has a weaker CPU, but has a dedicated GPU of some sort. At elast, that's how I hope it is. Having a GPU would make drawing stuff soo much easier.
If that's the case, then no, probably no GBA for it either. I'd still want one though.

I hope there will be Mono support for the .Net stuff, or Linux is kinda screwed. You are planning Linux support, right? Please?

And your issue with the immediate done thing: I had this issue on my nspire, and the way I fixed it was reinstalling the OS. Not sure if that'll help your situation, but it's worth a shot. Make sure you use 2.43 when you reinstall, not 2.5 MP edition

Very true That's a nice way of looking at it. HDMI adapter through the Link port, however? Not likely, except maybe with some help from calcnet.

I remember at one point he mentioned booting off usb though, maybe some possibility there.
Personally, I have no attachment to ti-OS itself, as long as KOS gets graphing and such.

There's not much to practice in the way of Nspire BASIC. Input, disp, text, and a few math functions are all that are really useful, IMO.

I never really got the hang of the rubik's cube. How about a TAS of a chess game?

It's less about the distro than it is about what window environmet (Gnome, XFCE, KDE, etc.) that determines how fast it will run. If it's just going to be command-line like you say, you could run just about anything, but distros like ubuntu with easy install always come with a Desktop. My recommendation? #$%* Small linux, as it can run pretty much any computer decently. I had it running on a 200 Mhz PC once, and it didn't lag at all, even with a desktop environment running. You also don't need to use any hard drive space if you have at least 128 MB of RAM, boot off USB, copy OS to ram, remove USB drive and you're running a standalone, driveless desktop!

You can install ndless 1.1 on a CAS Black one, using a clickpad keypad, but you have to insert it at roughly a 30 degree angle so it will fit past the curved plastic, because the CAS touchpad is shaped differently.
