Well, if it means anything, here's a Snes emu for the GP2x that takes the best of PocketSNES and SquidgeSNES, and makes them into one fast emulator. we'll still need a standard library though. Curses! http://reesy.gp32x.de/DrPocketSnes.html

I just have my sis design my sprites. Heck, I can't even draw worth a darn unless I'm going by another picture, then it ends up looking like it was drawn by an 8-year-old.
She hates spriting, though, so she draws it on a coordinate grid on paper and I convert it for her.

For some reason, tilp isn't letting me send any files to my nspire (specifically, nleash) but it let me upgrade my OS earlier today. The File display area doesn't show any of my folders, and when I try to send a file, it says folder not found. I also can't send anything from the calc, since it's not showing anything. 84+ mode works fine (well, as fine as crashing on half of all the asm stuff I find can get) Any help?

that's right. the keypads can be swapped with no worries during asm progs, but the OS has interrupts that shut down the calc when the pads are pulled out. The pads themselves
I'd imagine it'll only be 5 or 6 mb max, being very generous with the file sizes. Heck, the little-john emu is only 1.9 MB for ALL of those systems!

Who mentioned sound? That was just on the feature list for Little-john's, so I put it there.

Hmm...well, here's a version ported to the GP32. NES emu only, but a NES emu on the nspire would be an awesome start. http://yoyofr92.free.fr/ljgp32/index.htmlBTW, GP32 version ran most games fullspeed, it has an ARM9 133 mhz CPU.

What about having a 2 calc setup? One sends a message over the usb port to start the music when it starts the level, the other plays it through a link port speaker!
That's not raycasting......*drool*
Something to help poeple ignore the small screen space is a really fancy HUD. it helps a lot to see purpose in the bars of white.
Edit: Oh, it is raycasting! doesn't look like it to me, but still awesome!
Edit2: Wait, I'm confused.....

yeah, in 2.0 and 2.1 it doesn't fix the crash

I've encountered this a few times. An asm program crashes in the 84+ mode of the nspire. The crash should just be a ram clear away from fixing itself, but since the nspire emu saves the state, it has to reinstall the entire nspire os, just to get the 84 emu working again!
has anyone found a way around this? It's really annoying. I lose all my work, and I have to update my OS, which takes a good 15 minutes. (for several tasks, not just the transfer)

The 24th seems to be the pivotable point of return for many people, but funnily enough I won't be here that day. my brother's coming home from texas. Once school starts, around sept. 1 here, I'll be on much more often (many comp classes)

86 ti-connect always worked for me, just some programs wouldn't send. Those programs had a bad header, usually. I didn't think you needed that much power (lightning) TilP will send the files that TI-connect wouldn't, but half of them crashed my calc anyways Get TI-Graph-link for more compatibility, but you can't use the silverlink, you'll need a serial cable.
