I just got a mobile IRC client for my phone. One problem: I have no idea how to set it up. Help, please!

For server settings, use this "irc.efnet.pl".
If it also need a port number, use 6667.
Then you will have to set your name, and you're done.

Connect to it, and type "/join #omnimaga".
You should be connected to Omnimaga's IRC Channel

I put in the wrong port. But now it told me that I'm not authorised [British spelling preserved] to use this server.

Yay, I found one that works! But, as it turns out, the client I downloaded doesn't quite support touchscreens. I'm returning to the search, and anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

Which phone do you have? Is it J2ME-based?

Also I don't think this thread is in the right section.

#omnimaga is part of the site, right?
I have a Samsung Instinct s30 (SPH-M810). It's not the phone that's the problem, it's the fact that the program was not designed for a touchscreen phone: I can see but I can't speak.

Yeah I believe #omnimaga is part of the site, at least part of Omni, but, in this case, it's not related to OmnomIRC, since you want to connect directly to EFNet.

And yeah, Java programs optimized for touchscreens are not easy to find I think.
