Yeah... You should check the serial number on the back of the calc.
It's probably the too-new bug that everybody (including me) that has to face... Since the emulator is still in alpha phase, there are many bugs, and we think that due to the lack of ram pages in newer TI84+ SE, emulator crashes right after Nintendo Sign.

It might definitively be because you got a newer calc. Stupid Texas Instruments changed hardware inside them so some programs won't run anymore in them.
