I just recently got Guitar Hero 2 for the PS2 and thought it would be an awsome game for the ti-83+/84+ series.

If anybody wants to help, pm me or post here.

hmm i heard about it, is it like Dance Dance Revolution? Some people mentionned it on #omnimaga IRC chat a while ago

yeah it's just about the same thing, but 5 different buttons, and you have to "strum" everytime a note comes up.

So it's a little more difficult.
The only problem is i don't know how to get 2 key presses at once

So if anybody could help with that, that'd be great.

aah I see. as for 2 keypresses you can with xLIB, however it only works with some arrow scombinations

so i can't get like F1 F2 and Enter? (is 3 key presses at once even possible?)

you would need to ask halifax, jon, elfprince or someone on IRC to help you write a routine to do it or write one for you

too bad im to lazy to learn asm.
Maybe i'll just wait a while until i finish BSR (Black Sun Rising) before i start another project.

As for doing it in asm h*** yeah it can be done. Its fairly simple to write a routine to check for two keys and yea I would be willing to help with programming this game

lol well that's a good thing, but there's one big problem...
I don't know ASM. I know like basic commands, but have no idea how to put it into game format. (things like ld, jp, jr, b_call, and other stuff).

I'm sure i've seen asm programs having more than 2 keypresses before, but usually its multiple arrows+another key
