I just figured out that Axe didn't supported multi-page apps(There goes my work in axe)
So I'm comming back to xLib. This short rpg is to regain my lost optimism. ;)

Late last night, Quebec was invaded by a group calling themselves, "Omnimaga". Not much is known about these mysterious people except that they all carried calculators of some kind and they all seemed to converge on one house in particular. Experts estimate that the combined power of their fabled calculators is greater than all the worlds super computers put together. The group seems to be holding out in the home of a certain DJ_O, who the Omnimagians claim to be their founder. Such power has put the world at a standstill with everyone waiting to see what the Omnimagians will do...

Wait... This just in, the Omnimagians have sent the UN a list of demands that must be met or else the world will be "submitted to the wrath of Netham45's Lobster Army". Such demands include >9001 crates of peanuts, sacrificial blue lobsters, and a wide assortment of cherry flavored items. With such computing power stored in the hands of such people, we can only hope these demands are met.

In the wake of these events, we can only ask, Why? Why do these people make these demands, what caused them to gather, and what are their future plans...

the content will like Stick RPG (xgenstudio one) mixed with random battles. The point of this game is to collect all 50 different guns(10 for equip and 40 for collection). You get gold by defeating a monster, and get silver by working. You can level up by defeating a monster or take an exam. You have a day 1, day 2 stuff and score is based on how many times you died, collection completion, and days passed. It's a short RPG, so it will contain only 3 cities, and you can move around riding a bus once you meet the requirement to go to next city(# of guns collected.)
Intro is text based, but rest of them is xLib features(like sprite and tilemaps.) Also, it has a main storyline that you have to follow.

Had the same problem.  I am re-learning asm, though. (Which I definitely need a userbar for)

Anyway, it looks good so far.

Interesting concept. It's different from just saving the world, but it's not just a battle arena either (the former is OK because the game can be good, but arenas are too common on ticalc.org... I'm glad ticalc split them in their own directory.). Good luck!

lol, nice.  :P  when I saw RPG, I was immediatly reminded of Sandstorm: Modern Combat, which I always use the RPG to snipe.  :P

Progress for today:
Woah. Never thought I'll take 2+ days to complete it
Release date: most probably this friday
Progress: Completed Battle engine
             Completed Walking engine with collition detection
             Drew more pics for house
             Aborted the idea of little faces and emotions dialogue
             Screenies soon.
