No problem. I wonder if it was due to an exploit in your code or due to a guessed password? When TIMGUL ran Invisionboard 1.3 final hackers uploaded russian scripts to send spam from my e-mail account, which was a real hack, but when I moved to SMF, until I changed my password, they still could upload those files.

Anyway I'M glad all the other files are intact. A lot of the Omnimaga news use images from your server. Do you think in the future you could make a backup and send it to Juju or Netham45, in case one day your site shutted down or was deleted? In that case they would just have to install a word filter that censors img.removedfromgame.com/ to the new URL, so links continue to work.

I'll work on getting something like that set-up soon. I think I can get a script up to do daily back-ups that will be accessible by whoever wants it.

That's good to hear. :)

My guess is that at least the main people in charge of doing coding changes on the site (right now I think it's Juju and Netham45, but I think Eeems can too) could have access to downloadable backups or something.

Also keep an eye on what people upload on your server. You know what happened to Megaupload recently. X.x

Good news!

I managed to find a back up of the Userbar site on my old laptop and it's now back online.

The main site is, just not the img uploader and userbars one. The main site and the creepy pokémon story (which can be found at several places online) are gone forever.

It's as DJ says about the main site. Then again, there was never much there in the first place because I don't know what I should put there anymore. I suppose I'll make it into some sort of portal to access the rest of the sites I've made. Maybe even have it be a place to showcase everything I've ever done. Not sure entirely. I'll come up with something.

Also, I'm kinda surprise the Pokemon story didn't get taken down because there was NO way I was re-doing. In fact, I was going to just get rid of it soon enough anyway and yet it wasn't hit. How annoying.

Oh well, I'll be back when I either have a job or have something worth showing you guys.
Hit me up on Google+ or PM me if something else comes up. I'll see the emails.

Yeah you should make a portal to your other sites, like something made in 5 minutes.

Alrighty, went ahead and spent 5-10 minutes throwing together a portal. (only took so long from the time it was suggested because I had to go shopping and cook/eat dinner)

I'll get something all new, fancy, and full of Javascript interactive-y-ness sometime in the future. (and stop re-using that same layout/theme)
I only have one site to get back online and I'll have that done tonight.

Oh, and yeah. I'm a brony. (as you'll notice by one of the sites made) Don't worry, I'm not the kind that posts pictures everywhere and I'm not going to shove ponies down anyone's throats. Hay, I've gone this long without anyone here knowing. Just letting you know before anyone freaks.

Well, not bad for a site made in 5-10 minutes :)

And don't worry about the ponies, I already posted my quota of ponies in here. :P

Didn't realize you had so many projects :D Some of those weren't linked from your old front page last time I checked. Exploring them right now...

Yeah, I completely neglected my front page earlier because I always had big plans for it that I never got around to actually working on.

Currently working on that PonyRank site. I plan on having it in Beta by Friday at the latest. Then it's back to the MMO projects.

The Image server hasn't been getting any updates because it's kinda doing everything it needs to do for now. I'd like to get a gallery up to let people look at everything uploaded... but at the same time it seems like an invasion of privacy that isn't really needed. I could possibly set up a log in system an let people manage all the images they upload, but I always wanted the site to be as quick as possible with nothing extra needed and logging into a site just to upload an image seems like it's just extra time. I may still do it and allow people to upload without ever logging in still so that those who WANT to manage the images they upload can do so and those that don't want to waste any time can just upload quick. Otherwise, I planned on a couple of visual things like a progress bar for those big images that take awhile to upload.

Let me know what you guys think of those ideas and if you have any more ideas for the image uploading site or any of my other projects.
Hell, feel free to suggest a new site altogether. I'm devoting more of my free time to web development so I can build up a portfolio.

(Oh and I still have to make that back-up script that DJ_Omni suggested. I'll see about getting that done this week too)

well, for that gallery you could check on IP. by only showing the images uploaded from a specific IP adress you only get your own pictures, and still don't have to logg in, and i don't think it's really possible to get to see others pictures then (not that they're not allowed to see mine :) )

Of course then you need to upload them from the same ip every time, otherwise you won't see them

Yeah, that's the problem there. Lots of people have dynamic IPs or will be uploading from new computers/etc.
It's possible, but it'd be more annoying to the users than logging in would be.
