What about a "user's images" page on everyone's profile, which would end up being self-moderating. If someone saw an inappropriate (or off the calculator topic, etc) image, there would be a 'report image' button.

That would be nice, although I think there were concerns about privacy when the public image viewer idea was brought up. Some people, for example, uploaded images intended to only be known by friends or teachers, not the public.

actually we would prefer images be kept off omni as we pay for bandwidth. Now setting up a second image host is doable an im sure someone will see this thread and offer something other then withg after a while.

oh, ok, after a little talk with geekboy, i'd be ok with hosting a service (as long as it doesn't exeed my mem, so maybe some compression there) but i'm just to busy to set it up myself, somebody else would have to.

My little image uploader (and by mine, I mean I changed 2 lines of code from another guy):

actually it almost merged IIRC, but we had concerns about the feasibility of moderating innapropriate content and possible disk space issues. Back in 2009, AP was Omnimaga co-admin with me and others.

withg is alberthros server, for a image hoster, which uses a lot of hdd space if people use it, ask him.
