Assuming you use reg-free COM you can only use the DLL of wabbit, which means you have to roll your own GUI (you can grab a copy of the screen no worries). If you do use the exe, then yes the debugger does not open if you encounter a breakpoint and have defined your callback handle

Oh, I can roll my own GUI?  Even better!

Last week it dropped to $189.99 at Wal Mart over here O.O, but now it's back to $249.99. Apparently it's supposed to drop to $169.99 for real soon, but before that happens they were offering some free NES games and GBA games exclusive to people buying it before the price drop or something.

Well, here's how it works. If you log into the 3DS eShop before the date of the price drop (August 12), then you become registered in the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador program. The free games aren't actually available until later this year.

Oh ok, and what was the feature of the games in particular? Did they have extra stuff or is it the exact same? I got plenty of emulator games and even an original NES/SNES :P

Well, from what I've heard, the NES games won't have extra features at first (since we're getting them early), but when the updated versions are released publicly, the ambassador program members can get those versions for free as well.

I heard about the price drop too. :)
I think I might just get myself one, though I don't play video games too often.

I believe the free games are available starting in September (13th?). This is good for me. When I first heard the news about the price drop I was a bit disappointed because I thought "Gee, I should have waited to buy it.". However the offer of 20 free games isn't too bad. I believe it is specifically 10 nes titles and 10 gba titles. I'm not sure how many from each platform will be available to choose from though.

i think you get all twenty, which would be about $80 - $100 range, equalling the price drop

This sounds like how HP is offering free WebOS apps.

Awesome. I got a 3DS atm but no game yet. I might buy some online, though.

Personally, though, I do not like the 3D effect on it, though. It seems to just instantly change when moving my head and sometimes the screen seems to go darker at certain angles, so it gets a bit distracting. As a result I just turned 3D off. I like the handheld, though. At least button placement seems much better than on my bro's DS, which was the 2004 version.

Me too! Those look like some awesome games, but I'm especially excited for Yoshi Island/Metroid Fusion when the GBA games are released ;D

And DJ_O, congrats on getting one! They are powerful for handhelds, and with the 3d off, the battery lasts quite a bit longer :D
