Yes, I managed to procure a copy.  Thanks to everyone who emailed me (you know who you are).

I was wondering about the power management bug present in this iteration of the OS as I heard Calc84 made a patch.  Anyone know where I could find it/how to install it?

That said, welcome here Snispire and sorry for the very long registration process. This normally never happens, but the proxy you are using is blacklisted on SFS website due to spambots, so when you signed up, it automatically locked down your forum account.
I'm not using a proxy.  I'm using Netscape (AOL).

Aside from that, don't worry about it, DJ.  It was no big deal.
Aah ok, because your hostname has the word "proxy" in it. I guess maybe AOL does that

My guess is that AOL was used a lot to host spambots or a lot of 8 years old kids who use it probably spammed sites or trolled them to death. AOL'ers used to have a very bad reputation on the Internet, because of that.

But Pokemon Crystal is better than Gold...

Spoiler For Projects:

My projects haven't been worked on in a while, so they're all on hiatus for the time being. I do hope to eventually return to them in some form or another...

Spoiler For Pokemon TI:
Axe port of Pokemon Red/Blue to the 83+/84+ family. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia:
My big personal project, an original RPG about dimensional travel and a few heroes tasked with saving the world.
Coding-wise, on hold, but I am re-working the story.

Spoiler For Finale's Super Insane Tunnel Pack of Doom:
I will be combining Blur and Collision Course into a single gamepack. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia Origins: Sky's Story:
Prequel to Nostalgia. On hold, especially while the story is re-worked.

I guess TI just have no control on China's internet activities. That makes you kinda lucky on that >:D

I think it's similar in Russia too. Hence why most warez softwares and music sites are located on russian servers.

But yeah the main reason why they want OS 1.1 unavailable is so people cannot install Ndless.

The dev scene as far as the Nspire is concerned is very active, but, compared to the incredible amount of Apps available for the 83+/84+ series, hasn't developed anywhere near as much, especially when you consider that the Nspire's stats are so much more impressive than those of a ten-year-old calculator.  I guess that will change, given enough time.

Speaking of apps for the 83/84, how is TI-Boy coming along?

I ask, because a) I don't want to start a new thread about it and b) I am currently under the impression that it is dead.

I don't think TI-Boy is dead.  I remember calc84 talking about updates he was makeing to it a few weeks back.  Also, this was backuped on calc84's flash drive, so it was not lost when his computer crashed.

Hear, hear.

To me, that's one of the most amazing projects being worked on in the TI dev-scene as of late.

That is a shame.  That's still a TON of calculators, however.
