Most Epic Kid Ever
« on: June 23, 2010, 10:04:01 pm »
In the first video, this girl is only 10 years old. Listen through it all. Seriously.
Every single part is recreated from scratch and played there. Even the drums.

In this one, she's 11.

Just... wow. x.x

This girl is only 13 now too so she has a long road of epic ahead of her.
* {AP} ish seriously jealous...

On a side note, I'M not into 1970s stuff really, and neither in regular rock music, and that girl made me discover a "new" song that I like (and favorited). The first one, specifically :P

If you like Carry on my Wayward Son, then you'd like Point of No Return, also by Kansas. ;D

Btw I think the Pirate Of The Carribean one is my 2nd favorite after the Carry On Wayward son:

I wish there were direct keyboard mp3 recording of that stuff with better sound quality. It's really awesome.

I'm not a big fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean song but she does make it sound pretty good.

She is very talented. The age aspect though, considering that she is from Japan (as it says on her YouTube profile) isn't that shocking because I've heard 3rd and 4th grade concert bands that blow RMHS's Rocky Mountain Winds (the top band) out of the water. I have to give it to her thought that she can control three different sounds at once.

Just so some people don't mistake her to produce it all at once there is a pre-recorded track that does some of the percussion stuff (I'm about 95% sure about that) that she stays in tempo with.

Again though, she is really good :)
