@Blakpillar:Nope I don't recognize any of em, but I know we have some metal we like in common. :)

Hmm... DTG is death metal, DOH is deathcore, and CD is grindcore, so idk lol.

If anyone likes Hollywood Undead, then you'll love Deuce. Just be warned... Most songs are pretty NSFW... Everyone would like Tut Tut Child, though. He's DNB / dubstep (apparently called drumstep).

I tend not to like the more extreme metal as much, but it depends. Some of its pretty good though. =)

I don't mind metal with growling/screaming/etc vocals or extreme speed as long as it doesn't stick to only one or two note pitch/key level for almost the entire song, making the melody absolutely boring. I prefer when it has some epic melodies and preferably some chords as well (either choir pads or something else)

Stuff like this for example:

@DJ_O, that sounds pretty good! I'm just still not too big on power metal ;) If you're into We Came As Romans (if you've never heard of them, they're metalcore with clean singing and they have synths in some of their songs), you might like Erra.

@Balanced_Fury, I used to listen to SOAD and Slipknot nonstop lol. Slipknot was actually the band that got me into metal. My still best friend had me listen to "Wait and Bleed" in sixth grade (at that time I listened to Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace; bands like them) and I loved it. I still think their self-titled from 1999 is their best album.

I've been listening to mostly Japanese music lately...

Jokes aside, here's a list:
  • Girls Dead Monster (Yes, it's a fictional band from an anime, but their songs are great!)
  • +Plus
  • FLOW
  • Mami Kawada
  • Funkist
  • T.M. Revolution
  • Abingdon Boys School
  • VOCALOID KAITO
  • VOCALOID Hatsune Miku
  • VOCALOID Megurine Luka
  • Megpoid Gumi
  • Utauloid Kasane Teto
  • Just to name a few...

Non-Japanese music:
  • The Protomen
  • Stratovarius
  • DJ Omnimaga
  • Eurobeat Brony
  • Chrono Trigger OST
  • Ys Seven OST
  • Various Megaman OSTs
  • Other various video game OSTs

Spoiler For Projects:

My projects haven't been worked on in a while, so they're all on hiatus for the time being. I do hope to eventually return to them in some form or another...

Spoiler For Pokemon TI:
Axe port of Pokemon Red/Blue to the 83+/84+ family. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia:
My big personal project, an original RPG about dimensional travel and a few heroes tasked with saving the world.
Coding-wise, on hold, but I am re-working the story.

Spoiler For Finale's Super Insane Tunnel Pack of Doom:
I will be combining Blur and Collision Course into a single gamepack. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia Origins: Sky's Story:
Prequel to Nostalgia. On hold, especially while the story is re-worked.

I've listened to them before. They're good, but not something I'd listen to all the time. Music is almost always hit and miss with me, except for a few genres lol.

I think I heard of Erra before, maybe it was from juju yesterday but I could be wrong. :P I should listen to some of their stuff at one point.

As for music I tend to listen to a variety of stuff, but for electronic music I'm getting more and more picky over the years, because it got so incredibly commercial.

Also @FinaleTI Ys OST/Eurobeat Brony/Chrono Trigger OST FTW :D

Never heard of Erra. The one I showed you is Eluveitie. I bought their latest album yesterday with DJ_O, that and the latest from Dragonforce, both of them are pretty good.

Other than that I listen a lot to Dragonforce, Eurobeat Brony/SimGretina/The Living Tombstone/other misc pony stuff and Touhou OST.

Metal core can be really good. I especially like it when the bands have clean vocals as well. I'll have to check both of those bands out.

@BalancedFury: All of those are great bands. :)

@Other stuff: I'm really digging the new Dragonforce album, and I really love the new singer. In fact, I'd say I like him better than their old singer. However, I still think Ultra beatdown is my favorite album.

Haha! Who doesn't? :P I'm pretty familiar with rock and many of it's sub-genres. <3 Freddie. It's so sad that he had to die so young. I wish I had been able to see him in concert. I miss him. :*(

Lately I've been pluggin my Nintendo 3ds to my car radio (cassette player plug) to blast the songs from "Puzzle League Express" (DSi Downloadable game).  There's like two songs on there (one trance, one techno) that I find amazing to the ears :D
