Honestly I'm not sure on it.  Wouldn't it be pure spam? =/

Yeah that's my fear. IMHO we shouldn't encourage new people to do stuff that involves more forum moderation that most people dislike. I personally dislike when I see a topic with new replies then I discover it was an outdated topic with unjustified bump.

We could have Omnimaga holidays/occasions in general...like 8/24 could be "founder's day", 2/1 "Axe [Parser?] Day", etc.
