UPDATE: Song finished! (and single album too! http://djomnimaga.bandcamp.com/album/unfinished-single )

Unfinished is a new power metal song from me, inspired from Sabaton, Sonata Arctica and Albion, as well as my previous work. You can buy it on http://djomnimaga.bandcamp.com/ as a single (which will also include alternate versions of three songs from my album Ancient Kingdom of Omnimaga) starting in April 2014.

DJ Omnimaga - Unfinished holds the distinction of being the only song I made to have lyrics written for it, although it is still an electronic instrumental, in case, one day, a cover of this would be made with actual heavy or power metal vocals.

Update: This might get expanded further, although I was considering keeping it not too long too since shorter songs are easier to play on radios and stuff. However, you can hear pretty much the entire song for now at

If it gets expanded further it will be the solo part for the most part. Song name will stay as "Unfinished" (Unfinished as in a battle where you are attacked but can still fight back)

Guess from which song file this new song was started from.

(there are a few hints from the background melodies and synth/choir pad instruments)

Inspiration: Sabaton, Albion and Sonata Arctica

Also this will most likely go on a single with unused versions of three AKoO tracks, assuming I can figure out an artwork for such album (since this new song has explosion sounds in it, I think actual explosions, fire balls or fire would be fitting.

That said, even if it was someone else, I think that this song would be best covered as a punk rock, heavy metal, power metal or perhaps some grunge song.

Awesome to hear new stuff from you, DJ

! I really like the song, but I'll take the right to bear a bit of criticism. In my opinion, the composition is great and the lyrics are too, however, the result isn't probably quite what I want to hear. I think the "voice"/lead melody is too quiet. If the song is sung, it wouldn't be a problem, but at this instrumental stage it seems to be, well... unfinished. I really liked your last instrumental album with the louder lead melodies. Also 2:21 sounds quite a bit too much like 3:02 in "Ride Through the 4th Dimension" (my all-time-favorite of your power metal songs!).
Anyways, keep up the good stuff.

Strange, I didn't notice tjhe less loud melody much. I guess it's because it's faster and taken from the It's the end of agony file, though.
