He lives in Canada. However, his parents might be extremly demanding when it comes to school. In Canada, the passing note is 60% and you need about 80% to access most post-hi-school studies. My mom always liked when I got above 70%, but some parents wants their kid/teen to get insane scores, or worse, good scores in every classes, which is impossible IMHO. For example, I had 85-90% in 5 classes in my graduation year and 75-80 in a few others, but in french class I always had like 55%-60%

Well the thing is that french is my native language. The main issue was all the grammar rules causing my spelling/grammar to drag scores down in essays and I always sucked very bad at reading tests. Even in english, I got low score in reading tests, altough essays and other stuff made my score go higher than in french

yeah Blizzard probably have gone bankrupt in 1990s if Koreans didn't play starcraft. At least now, they are rich from all the Americans playing WoW. :)

Well today in Korea they still have SC tournaments where someone wins money for pwning :P

Also in Quebec, SC remained quite popular for many years as well. In fact, both ASM attempts at porting SC on calc (in 2003 and 2007) were from Quebecers, which is quite ironic, considering Quebecers normally don't give a darn about calcs.

haha I think a real-time SC is pretty hard to port, even in ASM. I don't think BASIC will be able to achieve such a high goal

ok a quick update, I have almost gotten my mark above 80 in English, and it might already be above 80 if he inputted a mark wrong.
I might have a hard time with Drama though...
