Also I am relunctant about getting a CX, even if I like to have almost every model.

Me to.  The really really big question is what sort of problems are going to be found with the cx models when a lot of them start being used?  Then the really really really big question is what will TI do about them?
I'M not sure. I doubt there will be many more, unless they managed to make the color code ultra buggy or that the hardware breaks easily. However we never know...
I'm one of those idiots who updated without removing the new boot2(my calc didn't brick).... I just want to rewrite an older boot 2 to have the ability to downgrade.
Nah you aren't one. Most TI users will visit calc websites months after getting their machine. It's inevitable that they don't know what OS 3.0.1 can do and that a tool to fix it exists on the Internet. Texas Instruments did not write in the TI-Nspire Link software update box that OS 3.0.1 requires TNOC prior installing. It's really TI who are at fault here.

But yeah as I said you should post a new topic about your question, so it can be seen easier.

I don't think it's possible to downgrade boot2...

Silver Shadow: it is possible to downgrade the boot2, as shown by critor and Levak :)

Yeah maybe this is a bit why the new calc is taking a bit to come out. Casio released the Prizm with plenty of bugs, although fortunately none can permanently brick the calc.

I wish TI learned their lesson from OS 2.0, which did the same thing as OS 3.0.1. They released OS 2.0.1 quickly afterward.
Just to say one of the bugs Casio had in the Prizm was actually a good thing that I hope they don not fix. The bug was that the app CRC is disabled if is set to 0. This allows us to do unrestricted app coding.

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

Aah that's the one. :D I hope they don't fix it indeed. It would suck if Casio went the same way as TI, either intentionally or unintentionally. X.x
