Yeah I always wondered that, but I heard that it crashed some calcs (probably OS incompatibilities) so maybe the staff couldn't get it to work or had too much problems with it and decided to not feature it yet. It's still an amazing game, though

The deadline is generally December 1st (sometimes 15th). However, given the large amount of entries, I think it's a good thing, else I think it might have done like Axe did in 2010 and get more votes than almost every other entry combined :P

Seems it changes from year to year... ztrumpet's Exodus got put in 2011's even though his was featured in November.

There's one from 2000: Bomberkids.

It's old enough that it actually has an 86 port. Good game, but that's really old.

And if a second vote was possible, I think I'd go for an Exercise in Futility.

Those are both really fun to play and a lot of work has been put in it.
