TI-84+ SE = TI-83+ SE?

I was at my local eletronics store (Fry's) when I stumbled upon a back to school sale table.
Upon this table was a clear-cased TI-84+ SE.

Could someone do the research and tell me if TI made any changes to this new edition?
I'm still at the store (air conditioning feels nice).

TI-84+SE + 80kb RAM = TI-83+SE + USB

Brandon has patched the 2.53MP 84+ OS to be runnable on a TI-83+SE.

I've made similar patches in order to run OSes 2.30 to 2.43 on a TI-83+ or a TI-83+SE.
(2.53MP cannot be run on a TI-83+ beacause it only has 32Kb RAM, and the OS needs 48Kb for the MathPrint engine)

I couldn't patch previous OSes (0.46, 2.21 & 2.22) as I couldn't find the matching code.

If I remember correctly it was produced in limited quantities. The one Raylin saw was probably old stock. :)

A friend of mine at school had one. As far as I can tell it had all the rampages, since it ran TI-boy. everyone at my school loves that one :P

It was a regular TI-84+ that I saw, though, not a silver edition (no removable key cover, didn't say silver edition in the menu either)

is there a difference between the regular and silver edition? One has slightly more archive space, I think.

For the 84+SE the only hardware difference to my knowledge from the 84+ is that it has more archive, like you said. It actually has twice as much, though much of that is used by the OS.

The nspire, after you delete all the languages and such has more than double the SEs, which is really nice.

Wait, what do you mean? An archive-reset 84+SE has ~1.6 (or ~1.7, I forget) MB archive.
Unless TI changed the paging system (yeah right :P), that can't be possible, since double of 1.6 is 3.2, and an 84+SE (and an 83+SE) has 2 MB flash ROM.
Maybe you mean something different? ???
