Casio Calculators / CAS for Prizm?
« on: February 11, 2013, 10:45:08 pm »
I would be grateful if someone made a CAS program for the Casio Prizm (simplify something like 3x+5x to 8x). TI has a CAS nSpire accepted on SATs and stuff so CAS is allowed on many tests. Thank you in advance if someone does make this.

Casio Calculators / TI basic converter

Many more people have TI calcs than Casio, making it hard to find programs for it. It would be nice to convert TI basic to Casio.

Casio Calculators / Educational Zone

It would be cool to have a help app telling us how to do stuff with out calculator so if our teacher doesn't know anything about math, we look at how to solve directly on the prizm. (ex. Q: How to solve for x? A: Equation>Solver>Eq>type>EXE>Solve)

Casio Calculators / Prizm Problem Solving Q&A
« on: December 15, 2012, 10:59:12 am »
This thread is so if anyone has questions about how to solve a problem using the Casio Prizm, you can ask here or answer someone's question. (ex. How do you solve 3x-2y+3z=8 (not a proper problem, just an example))

Casio Calculators / Calc better than Prizm possible
« on: October 24, 2012, 10:15:01 pm »
I want a custom calculator that has all the features (including a GPU, ARM7 processor, possibly 3D display (like HTC Evo 3D), WiFi (yes, SATs don't restrict Wifi!), SD card slot, camera, Android or Ubuntu compatible ... maybe OCR problem-solving?) possible except these by default (requirements for SAT, I'm surprised how easy it is to have an acceptable calculator :evillaugh: ):

Calculators with QWERTY (typewriter-like) keypads (just switch the W and the Q to make it a WQERTY keyboard to make it easy to type but allowed at the same time)
Calculators that contain electronic dictionaries (doesn't mean disable potential for dictionary, user's responsibility)
Calculators with paper tape or printers (Allow network printing could work though)
Calculators that "talk" or make noise (headphone jack ok/slot to put internal speaker in)
Calculators that require an electrical outlet (Meaning it needs battery lasting for at least 48 hrs strait with display and simple math, underclock when not using android OS)
Cell phone calculators (as long as it's not a cell phone, it's fine)
Pocket organizers or personal digital assistants (As long as it's labeled as a calculator, it's ok)
Hand-held minicomputers, PowerBooks, or laptop computers (As long as it's labeled as a calculator, it's ok)
Electronic writing pads or pen-input and stylus-driven devices (the Sharp 9600-EL can be used without the stylus) (finger touchscreen is ok)

Casio Calculators / Slope and Yint
« on: October 24, 2012, 08:37:07 pm »
I know this forum is mostly for programming games and stuff, but does anyone here know how to solve slope and y-int for Casio Prizm for an equation like "2x-y=1"? If so, I will be so grateful.  :evillaugh:

I'm asking this because there are so many insane features that this calculator has that almost never is found on calculators.  XD :ninja:

Introduce Yourself! / Hello
« on: September 12, 2012, 07:16:31 am »
Hello, I am a 10th Grade student still at school. The games for the Prizm are awesome, especially CGDoom after overclock. My dad got me a Prizm not knowing that I could put games on it, but since my math grades rose since I got it (solve for x app built in) he let me keep it. I want to learn how to program the calc to run it's own version of TI-Boy. I also don't like peanuts.
