TI Calculators / Re: Having trouble with TIBOY on my TI-84+CSE
« on: October 05, 2017, 09:38:53 pm »
I couldn't watch the entire video, too annoying. There should be a readme file included with TI-BOY CSE that has instructions on what you need to do to get it up and running. I'd recommend following that instead of some random Youtube video. Off the top of my head... make sure you have the version specifically for the CSE, and keep in mind only original Game boy games will work.

Hey, congrats on the full release. I'll have to give the finished version a playthrough. :) In regards to a directors cut, maybe it'd be better to do a sequel and incorporated what changes you would have made into that instead.

The post Eeems made two posts above yours is still relevant. The original author has not been around or posted in a long time unfortunately.

It's a bit of a shame about the b&w version, but it is what it is I guess. I'll be happy to see it completed regardless of what form it may take.

It's been pretty long since the last update, but I just wanted to post my support; I looked through the source a little bit and it looks like progress is going good! I understand how much of a pain it is to rewrite a game engine, and then I understand I have to multiply that pain by 20 since you're dealing with ASM. If you have any progress to show, I'd love to see!
^This. :D

TI Calculators / Re: Emulating Old TI Calcs on Nspire
« on: August 15, 2017, 04:58:56 pm »
The short answer is yes. There are quite a few 83+ family emulators that have been released over the years. I suppose most of them could be ported with varying degrees of difficulty. If the platform it was written for is similar, that makes it easier. If the source code is available, that makes it infinitely easier. There were at least 2 I can recall that were written for the old nspire models, (by calc84maniac and Jacobly I think?) but neither were finished, and I don't think either of them were open source. So yes, possible, but likely not an easy undertaking.

Ah, didn't realize the links led different places. I can't even view the article. I get a message saying:

You can not view the articles page.

Maybe @Sorunome @Eeems or @Geekboy1011  can take a look at it?

It looks like you have an edit on it today, did you figure it out? Also, you could add a new post saying the original post was updated if/when you update it.
