Hi Omegaxis213! What languages do you program in?

@Critor: Hopefully most people are intelligent enough to follow the link through. Just a misunderstanding and thanks Juju for the translation.

To be clearer than the last paragraph of critor's post: admins, make DJ_O cool down, or face reduced newsing activity by critor & Adriweb (and thereby reduced activity of your entire board). Lower activity due to a single person out of his mind is the last thing the community needs, needless to say.
Really??? Ha!

Yeah, this topic should probably be deleted and probably should have been locked!

Gaming Discussion / Re: Xbox 180

I wouldn't consider getting the Xbox. First, its policies are 'subject to change' so after players purchase it they can still revert back to only allowing new games to run. The EULA now disallows class action lawsuits so if it rrods like the 360, your screwed if your warranty is expired. Don't think that Microsoft is your friend or that they deserve any kind of respect, believe me, they are not out for your best interest! They could care less about you, they are trying to take control of the market and shift it to their best interest. That can only happen though if Sony plays into it, which they are not. When Microsoft seen the PS4 preorders dominating, they dropped the DRM, but it would be so unfortunate for the purchasers if they picked it back up. The funny thing is, MS has to pay Sony for the BluRay! The Xbox was amazing, but they still managed to fuck it up. Kinda like going from XP to Vista....

They didn't literally say that, but they did say to just stick with the 360 if we're not fine with their new policy and that like 100 new 360 games have been announced for after the Xbox One comes out anyway. But the way it was said in response to customer backlash pretty much meant that if we didn't like their policies then to just suck it.
^ True story. Think about it, in short they told their own customers to go fuck themselves!

Thanks! Target was a super secret project that has been deleted I think. After Jumper I might make a small demo or something, it was pretty unique.

Thanks Sorunome and Hayleia! When you get the jetpack or use the spring, it will go faster (especially with the jetpack). The first few iterations of the engine were painfully slow, I originally had planned to use a 16 bit character sprite but it just wasn't going to happen.

Here's an early demo, keeping the speed up was harder than I thought it would be.

Its going to be turn-based but I was thinking repeatedly pressing the buttons in a fight to attack multiple times and probably button combos for spells, the more accurate the combo, the stronger the spell. Just to make it more skill based than having it be random. There's nothing worse than a spell failing out of the blue!

@tr1p1ea: I'm not too worried about flicker, it can't be as bad as PacMan!
@TheCoder1998: Thanks, you should definitely get the +C!
@Hayleia: Thanks! I won't be complaining no matter how fast it runs... well, maybe a little ;)
@DJ: My +C is for games only, the monochrome one is for math now! If I had to choose which one to carry around, its the +C for sure.

Computer Usage and Setup Help / Re: Pulsing Power

I've had that problem before but it was a while ago. I can't remember exactly what I did but I can still hear the whirring of the computer when it started then the almost instantaneous sound of it dying down. Try removing removing all but one RAM card, try turning it on, if nothing, try the rest of the cards one at a time.

Thanks tr1p1ea! Since I suck at pixel art, I created a 3d model of a room in Sketchup then used printscreen and some resizing to get the room to scale. I also added some blood stains to make it look all crazy. The image above is actually only half of the screen, it scrolls around as you walk across the room! Attached is the full room and the 3d model I created.
