An outlier in the solar system! I like it! But the fact that no one has ever seen the planet is very exciting. What if It happens to be a far out terrestial, surrounded eternally by a thick, enormous gas atmosphere, while secretly harboring alien life. Hey, this is a great idea for an RPG storyline!

Art / Platformer Game Character Sprite Contest!!! :P
« on: January 25, 2016, 05:54:41 pm »
Here it is! @E37 and I are making a platformer game called "Slime." While the CodeWalrus Community helps me with the name of a boss I created, I decided to make this here. I created some character sprites, but I'm not sure if I like them.
All Stuff for this game can be found here: http://www.piskelapp.com/user/5817247805210624/public

Here are the RULES
- The Character Sprites must look cool and appropriate for a platformer game with no story so far.
- The sprites must be no larger than 8x8 pixels, but can be any dimensions 8x8 or smaller.
- Sprites must be posted here for all to see by 2/5/16.

EXTRA INFO
- The character can currently use a shield(which just looks like a bubble around it)
- The character will be able to use a blaster of some sort.
- Best Place for Online Sprites: http://www.piskelapp.com/
- This game is for the TI-84+ and is MONOCHROME(Ooooo! A challenge!)
- The game is in Axe; If you win, put your sprites in hex.
Go HERE FOR A SCREENIE OF THE GAME SO FAR: https://codewalr.us/index.php?topic=1026.msg30530#msg30530

Keep these things in mind as you sprite! @Art_of_camelot , this is a call to arms! :)

TI Z80 / Re: Nymless v1.81 Installation Issues

I used both TI Connect and TI Connect CE, but DJ Omnimaga says the file's corrupted; That's probably why it shows up as 192KB on my computer. I did try a manual GB Collect, and I did re-download. Nothing worked.
Still wondering where Freyaday is. Maybe he's finally finished revamping Zombie Gun or maybe he's just disappeared...

TI Z80 / Nymless v1.81 Installation Issues
« on: January 23, 2016, 10:12:43 pm »
Whenever I try to send Nymless.8xk to my TI-84+, it performs a Garbage Collect and I receive this message: "Error in Xmit" just before a RAM clear. What's going on, and how can I fix it?

EDIT: The file's corrupted. WHERE IS FREYADAY????

Maybe you should do both, when you're finished with AB5.

53
Oh. I suppose because it's so old there's no way it could handle the W10 upgrade.

Janitor Saves Cat's Life...

That version of Windows looks old.

56
Good to hear it! How large is the game so far? Too big and I won't be able to play it... I have a TI-84+.

Was that a glitch? The tile-out thing stopped and looked kind of choppy there for a sec.

What I meant was that in this demo, Reuben has a stick in battle. Shouldn't it look like a stick?

Oh! I heard about this! One day is supposedly 20,000 Earth-years there. *.*
