Hey guys, while the site feedback and questions is great for providing feedback and asking questions about the site. It doesn't work well for reporting errors and getting them fixed. I have a solution however, if you want to make sure your issue is noticed by admins who will then fix it asap, just go to http://ourl.ca/issue and log the problem.

Hey everybody. As some people on IRC know, an OmnomIRC3 beta is up and running here so feel free to try it out. Not everything is implemented yet, but there are a couple themes on it and it is hooked up to IRC. I would love to hear your suggestions. If you find a bug please log it on github. Thanks!

In light of how ridiculously large some peoples signatures are becoming the admins have decided to start enforcing limits on the size and content of a signature. - Signatures will not be larger then 800x200 pixels in size.
- They will not have animated images of over 15 frames
- Animated images must not be too "loud"
- Signatures will not contain spoiler tags
We would also like to request that people only have relevant content in their signatures. The list is not formally in the rules yet, but we will be enforcing them as such. A more definite version of the rules will be added to the rules page soon.

We now have a Subdomain listing showing the status of all public subdomains and domains in the omnimaga network and who to complain to if something goes wrong with them. Eeems.ca has moved completely off of the omnimaga servers and is now on it's own vps, adding yet another server into the omnimaga network. You can now view the current status of the servers in the omnimaga network (Including the withgusto network) by visiting one of the status pages.

I created a mutli-server bot a while back in node.js and I've decided that I'm going to clean up it's code a bit and then release it so that you guys can write scripts for it As you can see from the logs I haven't gotten rid of all the bugs, but for the most part it's a pretty stable bot. Security on it is pretty good as well. I'm planning on combining some of my code on this and my node.js chat server to create a version of omnomirc written in node.js that uses less resources and is written in javascript, making it much easier to play around with for you guys.

Hmm, seeing as I haven't posted this yet in any official manner I'll post it here I created a omni repo for pacman ( the package manager for arch ) a while ago and have been maintaining it. More information on how to access it and what packages it currently contains can be found here: http://withg.us.to/eeems/omni/ http://omni.eeems.ca For the most part it contains my projects.
So yeah, if you want me to host pre-compiled packages of your stuff let me know Also, I wouldn't mind maybe having one mirror in case withg goes down so if someone could do that as well that would be great.

Alrighty, so big update time. First off, clean up time. We have noticed that a few ARS have been inactive for a long time and while the 10 post rule doesn't count for their position we no longer believe that they are able to fulfill their duties and so we have demoted them from their ARS position. Meishe91, z80man, calcdude84se and TsukasaZX we will miss you guys on the team and maybe if you are more active in the future we can give you back your position.
Secondly the administration team ( Deep, Netham and me ( Eeems ) ) have decided that while the voting system is nice, downvoting has caused too much controversy in the past due to people not understanding how it is suppose to be used. Because of this we have decided to remove the downvote option. Now you can only upvote posts.
Our third and last update is that we have hired two new administrators to bolster our dwindling numbers so without further ado, please welcome shmibs and qwerty to the manager team!
