TI Z80 / Re: Chip's Challenge
« on: November 30, 2008, 08:47:18 pm »
I have a copy of the "Microsoft Entertainment Pack" 1-4 along with Bob's House and a few other M$ goodies. I keep them all on my flash drive in case I'm feeling nostalgic.

How did this topic go from girls to leprechauns so fast? that might be the problem we're more interested in leprechauns.

F-Zero 83+ / Re: F-Zero Progress Thread
« on: November 24, 2008, 05:45:03 pm »
That was one of my favorite things about the 68k FZero, it made it feel like you were going faster because when you turned, your eyes had something to judge the speed of the turn against.

This looks like the best mode7 game out there for the Z80 series, keep up the good work calc84maniac!
I may be teh best mode 7 game for the z80 calcs but are there really many others out there?
If if there are where can I find them. :P

Nice, you know when you get this done, if the engine is fast enough you'll have to make a Super Mario Kart port also. :P

My 84+se I got new, the-86 I got from a friend for $20, and my 83+se I got from eBay, and the rest I got from school since they have messed up lcd's or were just left in the lost and found for over a year.

I should really post a pic of my collection, it doesn't quite rival either of yours and many of them don't work but its still quite a large collection. 7 calcs if I remember correctly.

Shame this game looked cool. That said im sure it could be easily picked up since its is extremely well planned and some of the coding has begun. I might even have an engine lying around that could be adapted to it O_o.
Well I would be willing to help as long as I have a more experienced coder to help me. I have made a few other utilities since then and my coding skills have improved but I still don't think I could handle it by myself.

Other Calculators / Re: Is TI-Connect really THAT Bad?
« on: October 19, 2008, 04:02:11 pm »
Yes TI-connect is the best in terms of ease of use but really If someone were to rewrite TILP so it didn't fail so much that would be the best solution. All the linking routines are there they would just need to rewrite the GUI so it its more user Friendly.

Well I Like tilp2 for nix but on windows it fails and since my new comp is running 64Bit vista I can't use either of them. But yeah ti-connect is working hard at killing your flash pages I think BrandonW said it erased your swap sector a few times for each transfer for no apparent reason. Hence Tilp2 is faster in some cases. But yeah to tell the truth is the both suck.

I love the comments on the hacking a computer with a ti84 vid because BrandonW proved its possible and was close to accomplishing it but he never worked out the bug so all those people say it isn't don't know shit.
