Well if you can get a 83+se or 84+se on ebay go for that if not you could go with the Nspire 84 keypad version since you'll be able to play most 84 games on it and it is cheaper than the 84+se. if you know where you can get usb adapters you could get a plain 84+ and use MSD8x so that you'll have more memory tough you'll have to constantly load file to and from the flash drive.

if the lithium battery is low then they will most likely drain when the calc is off then yes. tough just remember you calc is never really off unless there are no batteries in it, it is just in a low power state waiting for you to press on though even if you lithium battery is low it shouldn't drain that fast.

Well when the lithium battery is dead it uses power from the AAA's to maintain the ram. If it wasn't the lithium battery your ram wouldn't have cleared when you changed the battery's.

Yeah this line on ti's website scares me Quickly and easily prepare TI-Nspire and TI-Nspire CAS handhelds for test day. Educators can simply press a reset button located on the back of each unit. and from what I can see more of the menus are in b&w but they may use the grayscale in other areas.

Or you can get the nspire cas which has more math power but it doesn't have the 84 keypad. they just need more programing capibilty and they will pwn hp and casio.

Yeah that is what I said that the basicprogs run at full speed but xlib slows it down for its displaystuff and then resets it.

Yeah that makes sence, cuz I thought that the SE calcs ran basic progs at top speed so xlib would have issues with the speed difference when displaying stuff. But with asm with a few extra lines of code you can have it detect which calc you are on and adjust your screen delays for whichever calc you are on.

Hey are the screenshots in your sig PTI or waibbit? Cuz they are crazy fast it and if they are 83+ and not se that is amazing.
