Jim e had a doom game running when he came out with RGP. Granted it didn't have super fancy stuff like Gemini, but it had textured walls.

Saw it on here earlier, but when I saw it on Engadget I thought that was pretty big. We all knew the project was looking great, hopefully more people can enjoy it now.

Well this isn't the first release of this game, but I'm glad to see he added greyscale.  I don't get the point of 24bit highscores, but to each his own I guess. It looks great.

But if this goes too well, someday kids'll just ask their computers to do their homework for them x.x

That's probably what they said of graphing calculators, though ;D

-You mean they don't do that already? No wonder why I never got my homework done! :P

How you're going to incorporate the laser sounds awesome. Can't wait to see it.

Looks like they got a lot of talented programmers over there. I remember 4nic8 was quite the programmer too, just a lack of participation over on the casio stuff.

I watched the first day and I heard he decimated today. I thought Ken was up more than $400. More like $10000, but I didnt see it so I cant so for sure. Either way they were both being killed by Watson.

Looks great, is the laser going to be a new gameplay element or are you just doing it for fun?

Miscellaneous / Re: phpBB vs SMF - which one?
« on: February 10, 2011, 11:46:51 pm »
I have always used phpbb, I must say it has gotten a lot better, especially the 3.0 versions. At least it seems that way. There are a lot of mods but not all work with the latest build of phpbb. I haven't really used SMF, so I cant really say. I know RevSoft tried both versions when we were just starting out and we ultimately chose phpbb. It just seemed better.

I must say that replay is top notch. I am curious to how you pulled it off. It really adds a nice touch. Did you store the player's like last five positions as well as the ball's?
