That looks great! I reminds me of Super Mario World for the NES when you are on the ship and trying to get the key/wand (I don't remember) from the turtle guy to save the princess.

This sounds great although I probably won't be able to participate either. I don't own an 84+ or 83+ yet.
Good luck for everyone that enters. 125

So the next big thing was Linux on a calculator not another game or emulator.

Hmm. Have you tried pressing the reset button? It basically just re-boots the calculator so you don't need to worry about losing files.

I have not heard the name Movember before but I know people at my school call it No Shave November. Before Thanksgiving I'll probably be forced to shave by my parents or something. I don't think that they think having a moustache / goatee is a good thing for family gatherings.

I never knew that because I always just press enter. It takes longer to move the mouse than to just press enter.

Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Omnimaga saving act« on: November 09, 2012, 05:54:19 pm »I know that DJ has for the most part been uploading tribute videos and such to his own youtube channel. But, if we really wanted a dedicated channel to our own, we could always create a new gmail account specifically for omnimaga videos, and then link it to a new official youtube channel. I really like this idea. I know that I'll try to make more videos once I get a hold of some more calculators and it would make sense if others made calculator videos for omnimaga to put them on a single channel. Kind of like the channel that xda developers has for android devices. EDIT: Here is the video that I made, 134
General Calculator Help / TI-83 (No Plus) Corrosion Help« on: November 08, 2012, 09:10:40 pm »
Hi,
I have a TI-83 that boots up to a black screen and the contrast wont go down. I open it up and I find some corrosion from what looks like a battery leak. Any tips on cleaning that off and getting this calculator working again? Here are some Pictures: http://db.tt/5RrHUHN7 http://db.tt/ZpOGXx42 Thanks 135

Disguise them as something else, like the 4 arithmetic buttons, possibly.Oh, so what were you planning to do with it? I agree. If there is going to be a touch screen or touch pad on this calculator lets make it a good one. I have an Nspire CX and the touchpad kind of sucks if you are trying to use the mouse with it. Also when I let people borrow my calculator to play games they don't really understand the concept of only using one thumb. |
