Exactly. Thanks ThePenguin77! hehe

TI BOY SE doesn't drain batteries, at least not on my 128 RAM TI84_+SE. I didn't turn the app off for days, never using the on button, only the clear button, when I played pokemon on it nonstop. I still had enough battery for a few weeks of use with MSD8x (A project I wish would revive.)

HP calculators are wayyyy different from any device I am used to o.0 It seems to have lots and lots of functionality/programmability. Perhaps there is an HPcalc.org? :P
That was the goal of HP : teach students programming. Unlike TI who makes their calcs less and less programmer friendly. <_<

TI panders to tests. I hate that. I mostly used Symbloic, Omnicalc, and other math apps for my tests last week.

TI-Nspire / Re: TI-Nspire Task Manager
« on: March 17, 2013, 12:24:22 pm »
Maybe wirte a feature that allows you to explore, to a greater extent, the purpose of a task and/or what and/or how it does what it is doing? Monitor the CPU for different things like I/O and the memory section with a viewer for the selected task? A scheduler and a performance monitor, as well as a memory viewer, is always a nice feature :) I give ideas! I don't know how to implement them yet :P

Well I asked about the CasioCalc.org, I knew about Ticalc, and now I find out about HPcalc. Is there a CrappyDollarTreeCalc.org? :P

What is the most favored calculator on this website, by majority?

Go ahead and say your favorite calcs for which purpose, and how often you use it :P

Thank God, because I was worried about my peanut surplus was already running out. When I get back from the trip to my moms (which I am on, and I hate not being able to use my special computer :(  ), I will put them in my signature. :)

I should've actually watched that topic for search tools :P

I am a forumer. I love forums, because they are like the archives of the specific sections of the minds of a specific section of humanity. This section loves pianos and calculators. They are my people :)
I will try not to necropost, but I do that sometimes! I also tend to be passionate about whatever I say. :) I hack calculator games with vigor. People used to pay me to hack the ASM of Phoneix or Mario for them. :)

Yes, I should've screamed "NECROPOST" before writing anything. :P
Developing for the Wii has become much easier over the years since the first Wii hacking began. 2010 was about the time it became a widespread activity, and by 2013, Wii hacking and homebrewing is actually a common geek practice :P

This program is just a rickroll for computer nerds. :P

TI-Nspire / Re: z80 emulator for Nspire
« on: March 17, 2013, 12:10:54 pm »
My father BEGAN his computer career on a Timex Sinclair Z80. I can emulate one of these, can't I? I suppose that hardware emulation other than just the CPU is required, things like displays, memory mapping, storage, interfaces, and data transfer are all crucial components of any device, emulated or not. I'll have to emulate a Z80 when I get my CX CAS :)

I know that the old click/touchpad nSpires had the interchangeable 84+ keypad. My friend owned two of them because his parents were rich and bought one for his sister and one for him. His sister never used it, and he never used his either,he usually borrowed on of mine. So he just had them in his bag all the time and I messed around on them, testing compatability between certain ASM programs and Applications written for the real 84+. He wouldn't mind giving me the one that he damaged the screen on I bet, and I know people love getting help from people testing things on a clickpad! The thing was slow, and one of the worst problems it had was emulating the display. Certain graphing could actually completely f*ck the display up, IIRC. Playing games was a very dangerous thing. Though, he had a very old calculator OS on his nSpire and his 84+ was 2.44 I think.

I'm not going to go searching around for a CX image. I'm a respectable person, and I only find illegal ROM dumps of devices or volumes that are at least 10 years old. :P I kid, but seriously I don't pirate. :)
I see that hacking the nSpire involves a lot of similar concepts used in hacking Wii's, and I'm happy about that. It's quite the calculator! I'll own a CX CAS soon enough, less than a month hopefully. Leave this topic open for others wondering the same thing. I think choosing between calculators can be difficult for some people.

I thought the search tool was broken! :P I will google "BrainF*ck Omnimaga" :) I almost wrote an entire BF RTI in BF. I was so proud of myself and then I got lost in my code after losing the paper that I drew that explained the control flow. :( Great excersise though! I would love to see if a 3 bit processor actually exists :P

Thank you for recommending I hack it! I'll get right on it! I immediately just decided to use calcsys to get by, but I love to spend some time hacking someone elses code! :)

Quick question: What is this program? I see it has been ported and written for absolutely EVERY device ever, but I am afraid to run it on anything because it is just spammed all over the archives I find them in.

TI-Nspire / Re: gpSP-Nspire (GBA Emulator)
« on: March 16, 2013, 11:35:55 pm »
So, this project was, in fact, feasible? What if you merged gbc and gbSP and just had VirtualBoy advanced on the calc? :P

I went back and read this whole thing. I also read the topics about this project long before it started but was attempted.

I have to point out something:
Feature request (already :P)
Could the browser be able to go up enough so we can see the hidden folder of HideManager (so we put all our roms in it) ?

Anybody who knows enough about these things will know how to escape a filesystem pit, and will probably only get lost on purpose to explore. :P

So the CX CAS plays these things as well as the regular old crummy CX? Call me dumb but I thought I saw "CAS" on your calculator in the first side-by-side!

Other Calculators / Re: 160x240 resolution possible on CSE
« on: March 16, 2013, 11:30:32 pm »
* [email protected] suddenly desires a CSE because theoretically, this could be used to double, maybe even quadruple (if we can figure out how to add on to this feature, perhaps a quad sized screen?) framerates and thus have a legit game with nice graphics, like, ohhhh, say a port of SMB? :)

TI-Nspire / Re: z80 emulator for Nspire
« on: March 16, 2013, 11:27:33 pm »
*.* Are you telling me that a Ti83+ will be usable on my nSpire soon? This means, theoretically, I could have the entire 8x series on one calculator, and have it run so fast I can optionally set up a throttle? Make an options menu if a full fledged emulator is written!

I love you guys.
