TI-BASIC / Re: BasicBuilder - Huh?
« on: June 04, 2009, 03:06:09 am »
Just run Wappsign.exe and drop the .hex file onto the window.
If you have to, locate the key file, then generate the app.

That's all there is to it.

TI-BASIC / Re: AI Tutorial
« on: May 27, 2009, 10:50:20 pm »
Ah, I should actually try to complete this tutorial.
It's just that I'm working full-time right now, and will be doing so for the rest of the summer...

To create a learning AI, you need to develop a method for the AI to record the results of its decisions and alter its decisions based on the results (heh, this is sort of confusing sounding). For example, if the AI was playing checkers and moved its piece next to the opponents piece and the opponent jumped the AI's piece, a learning AI would analyze the result of its decision and conclude that it should avoid moving its piece next to an opponents piece. (this is easier said than done) As for actually coding this, well.... idk how to do it yet. I've been thinking about it, but so far the method alludes me.

Those xlib commands are not complete and there should only be 1 command in the loop.

Try this instead:

real(1,0,0,2,16,1,0,0,0,0,0
Repeat 0
real(1,0,0,2,16,2,0,0,3,0
End

I'm kinda thinking about getting a job in that area.
Information Security is a growing industry, and there is much to be done, and always will be as long as technology progresses.

News / Re: Contest
« on: May 09, 2009, 04:25:12 am »
I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but who are the judges going to be for this contest? I kinda feel suddenly motivated to participate in this contest. If you need some judges, I wouldn't mind reviewing some games, otherwise I think I'll submit an entry of my own :)

I haven't seen the new flavor being sold anywhere, but I probably won't buy them :P
I'm not much of a Dorito fan to begin with. However, if someone has some available I'll try them.

oh, and Netham45 is a lobster.

How many dungeons do you plan on including in this game?
Instead of finding the triforce (like in Zelda), you could find the Quadforce! j/k

Anyway, just looking forward to playing this.

This sounds good.
But I do have one question:
Is it meant for using with other programs, or is it for development purposes?

If in the case it's meant for use with other programs, maybe a "copy to archive" function could be added.
I can see where this would simplify the installation step of basicbuilder programs (bowling for example).

you crazy sytrus arpeggio cheater :P j/k

Not bad. Needs some serious bass though.
What program did you use to create this?

Another really good synthesizer is called Nexus.
You'll have to torrent it, but it definitely kicks ass. (even more so that sytrus)
