Doublepost :P
But... it's an update. :D

-added "trembling" to squashers
-character flies up a bit when squashers touch down  (he only goes up 1 pixel right now, I didn't know if more than that would be overwhelming the effect, see what you think)
-the gun shoots :D

As for now, I think I'll optimize it a lot before I add the enemies, so there might not be updates for a while. :)

EDIT: forgot screenie x.x
EDIT2: wrong screenie- now it should be okay :P

If the character flew up a bit (just a couple pixels) whenever the squashers hit would also be a really cool effect.
I just tried this, and it makes it soooo much cooler. :D Thanks for the idea
This looks amazing! Maybe you could make the squashers "tremble" a little before falling, also via Super Mario? :D
Thanks! And yes, I totally forgot about the trembling thing, I'll definitely include that. :D

ASM / Re: ON break

Yes, iirc the ON break is disabled automatically in asm.
But if you are familiar with BASIC I would strongly recommend you learn Axe Parser.

Other Calculators / Re: Project death prevention?
« on: August 14, 2012, 12:19:30 pm »
Well, without a good foundation for a game (eg. not a good idea, something way out of your abilities of coding, etc.) the project is very likely to die out. A good amount of planning also helps out so that you know how each part of the project will work out, so you can 1) have more ease of coding it, and 2) you get hiped up and are more motivated to finish it.

Cool! I'm glad the downvote button has found it's way back into the forums. :)
Also, was this part of the Major Reconstructing?

MirageOS has an option to disable writeback, but you needn't be worried about wearing out your ROM, because while it *does* have an expiration on how many times you can write to it, but that number is so incredibly large that you probably won't ever have that happen to your calc. (I'd ask Runer112 about specifics)
