Btw I didn't even know math/science-related programs were even allowed in Omnimaga downloads section ??? (not that it's bad, considering how great it is, but I remember rejecting any non-game/music related tools back when I was still admin so I guess this changed)
sorry, but I think that it didn't make any sense... we should all support the community in every possible way, that's the way to go. just an opinion... peace
there should be added categories for that in the downloads section (math/science-related calc programs) after all that's what the calcs were made to...

In Portugal it is possible to buy it yet.

But I miss the 83+SE all transparent... I'd like to have one.

I'd like to review the portuguese translation: it got translated to brasilian portuguese instead of european portuguese, but once the nspire doesn't have different localizations for both countries (has only european portuguese) (and I prefer it in portuguese of Portugal) I think that it makes sense to be in portuguese of Portugal.
(google translate doesn't have distinction from both and does what he thinks that is best)

Just as additional curiosity there is no TI Brazil site in portuguese: it redirects to the latin america site (in spanish). That makes me think that Brazil may be dominated by casio calcs while TI dominates the rest of the world market (except for japan of course).

In the computer software if you chose a keypad that's not CX i.e. a touchpad or a clickpad then you'll see it in grayscale. That's good for testing ;)

Great! will it have AI?
Did you checked the colors in grayscale mode to verify if it is playable in all nspires?

The only suggestion would be to allow the player to change camera sensitivity because it's incredibly fast right now and also the movement speed was incredibly slow. D:
+1
I also noticed that.

EDIT: Just unistalled that and it left the start menu shortcut to the unistaller and the C:\Program Files\The Blue Platform\uninstall.exe file. I'm on a Win7Pro32.

I didn't tryed anything, but it communicates with the computer through serial port, there could be a feasible chance of making them exchange data.

To make a simpler thing like turning a light on/off I could use an interrupt on an input connected to the nspire just like jimbauwens connected the speaker.
Then any interrupt signal could be used to turn on/off anything...

Simple! :D

Well, could manage to solve this problem in the picaxe forums.

This may not look very interesting to you, but if I told you that it communicates with the computer the say way that nspires can communicate?
We could maybe do virtually anything the immagination lets us to: ndless can use RS232 (I think) so it my communicate with the PICAXE microcontroler.

In a very simple example: it could be possible to turn on/off your room's light with the press of the enter key by simply using a relay, the PICAXE, a nspire and a lua program to send signals through the print() function.

Other / 1st steps on PICAXE dev
« on: December 26, 2011, 10:11:58 am »
Recently my curiosity on building electronic stuff has grown up so I bought a PICAXE 28X1 and a breadboard.

Previously I had bought a RS232 to USB adapter thinking on nspire modding or repairing, if needed.
So I am wanting to use and program it on the breadboard instead of having to buy their project board and usb cable...

The problem is that I am using the circuit I should but something is wrong and I don't know what.

Has anyone here already did this?
