i love the scrollbar! the top tile being inverted is a little weird, though(he looks like either a jawa or one of those little guys from the underground world in oracle of seasons)
im looking forward to something executable. gl!

i really like the idea. ti-calc is just too vast a place to search through(the majority of the files there being number guessing etc) and searching through the forums to find things takes a while too. it would be nice to have an organized section with nothing but files that are guaranteed to be interesting.
in the interest of keeping it users only, i like the 50 post limit. all the unwanted craps will be filtered out and if somebody wants to upload who does not yet have 50 or cannot upload for some other reason, somebody we know has made a great game, or who is well respected in the community, he can simply email it to somebody and have it uploaded for him. this wouldnt be a problem because there's no authour field, right?
oh, and i like the idea of fewer restrictions than ticalc

yeah, there's no way i could do anything with gray(unless i finally convince myself to look at asm again). im thinking mebbe filling the entire shape and then inverting the visible portion of the frame like so: was this something you tried that didnt work? oh, and sorry for drawing your thread offtopic. i wont post anymore of this stuff here thanks for the help, and keep up the awesome work!

definitely add diagonals. it wouldn't feel right without them. oh, and thanks for the help last night mr penguin. i successfully created an arbitrary wireframe polygon drawer in chem class today =D how do you go about filling sides with a solid colour?

DUDE! HOLY CRAPPZ!! this is the most exciting thing ive seen all week
do you think you could write out a brieg guide to making polygon 3d(not specific to any language, but just a basic guideline which can be applied to any)

cool add in a few more tools (mebbe rotation/flipping and saving the previous sprite) and that could be rather useful, especially because it's pure basic so anyone can use it

the game looks great(that is totally an improvement over impossible jezzball), but im more excited for that filling algorithm. if you dont post it quickly i might have to try writing a slightly less shiny one just so i have it when it will inevitably be needed in some future prog. nice work!

the sonic thing could be made a little easier if you just used all circular tiles so you wouldnt have to rotate them as well. i can see that being doable, though still tough. great to hear you're working more soon, im excite for this =D

it seems more likely to me that it has a massive database filled with people's past responses to particular string inputs that it chooses from randomly(the more often people answer in a particular manner, the more chances there are of it answering that same way) and some routine that finds the most similar string if none are matched exactly which is possibly influenced slightly by the previous few posts. using people is just too unreliable. besides, what about at first when they didnt have hundreds of peeps accessing it at any given second? there's no way you could pay someone to have meaningless conversations with random people over the internet that are constantly being cut off and redirected after 1 or 2 sentences
