Have you used TNOC on the CAS OS? You are being quite ambiguous.
After that send it to the calc in the folder nlaunch.
I am no longer with you, so try to follow the readme as well as you can.
Edit: I'd love to help you, but it's late where I come from and I have to be going to bed.

Spoiler For some of the calcs I own:

(actually I have quite a few more than this, but I don't feel like making bars for them all.)

So when you told me to download the OS, was that the next step or an emulator for my PC? If it were an emulator for my PC  please tell me the next step so i can continue with this process.

I am in need of dire help?
You won't die if you don't get help tonight. Besides, most Nspire users live in Europe so they are asleep right now. :P

Not to mention getting help to install a CAS OS on a non-CAS model is hard anywhere, since 99.9% of the people who promised not to cheat actually cheated for real. :P

Use tnoc on the cas os.
Create a folder called nlaunch and send the cas os after using tnoc to it.

I have to go now, too, though.

I am sorry for exaggerating the urgency of my status.
sorry i live in cali so I didn't know most people here were from Europe
And as i mentioned i have no use for cheating with my nspire i just need it for the class and maybe college classes (if the professor allows it) other than that i don't use my nspire for anything else. I mean that's the best i can do to ensure you that i won't cheat i am not sure how to put it any other way.

Anyway sorry for rushing....

Edit: where do i put the nlauncher and how( i think my roots but i am not sure where that is)? Also when you said TNOC my cas.tns do i just delete boot 2 or is there something more? Also if i deleted boot 2 on my cx 3.1.0.392 file(not the one i am currently running) do i have to redownload that with the boot 2? do i use my ti nspire computer link program and where is the roots i am suppose to have a root but i can't find it? Please go really basic on me! and thanks!

Edit: So i am going to go to sleep but if anyone else wants to help me, here's the basic rundown. I am horrible with directions and i know the directions are posted (https://github.com/Excale/nLaunchy/) there but I am still totally lost. So far from what i have done is this
{Anyone please tell me what is wrong with what i have done and what i need to fix or etc}
0). i put the two documents that i had(my back up) into my comp
Before that i downgraded from my ti-nspire Cx 3.2 to 3.1.0.392 and i downloaded TI-NspireCXCAS-3.1.0.392( it's just in my computer nothing installed or anything like that). From there someone told me to TNOC it but when they said that i am not sure if they mean just deleting boot 2 or something else. While pondering among that issue i also found that i didn't do the step number one on the website( and i really don't know what to do so).
So if anyone can help me pull out of this mess that would be so awesome!
BTW my objective is to run ti-nspire cas on my ti-nspire cx because my teacher recommended it.

You only need to remove the Boot2. Of course, removing the example files won't cause any problems, so you can remove those too if you want to save space.
For step 1, you probably already have boot2 3.1.0.16, you can make sure by going to Settings->Status->About (from the home screen)

Next, rename TI-NspireCXCAS-3.1.0.392.tcc to phoenix.tns You may need to show file extensions if you use Windows, because you must remove the tcc extension.
Then create a directory in My Documents called nlaunch and transfer phoenix.tns there, along with nlaunch.tns

When following the directions, make sure you're in the CX section, the first set of steps is for Classic Nspires.

So when you say remove boot 2 and examples are you talking about the CAS file?
I am not sure where my file extension option is ( I think properties)? Sorry I live in California and I am at school so I can't check I just want to get it all down before proceeding so if we can continue with the procedure that would be great too(just FYI if I respond late) . so basically if you can clarify where my file extension is and how to remove it that would be awesome :D.
Also I am using the ti-nspire computer link program( I think it is the wrong one), could you tell me if that is the right program or link me another program I could use? I think it is the wrong program because whenever I try to put anything in my documents with the computer link system it tries to upgrade my os and I am not sure if that is pushing the 3.4. Is where it will lock me from downgrading or if it is just trying to place the files into my documents.

Yes, the OS file, you don't need to remove examples, but you can if you want.

I don't use Windows, so I don't know how, but try this, then rename the OS file to phoenix.tns.

You can use TiLP for linking, it won't try to automatically upgrade your calc. (Use the Windows installer for tilp)

I will try both( as in tnoc the file and change the extension)  but for the TiLP where is the download link for the program or something I just see a description.

Edit: Could you send me the link that downloads the TiLP so I can download it with just clicking the link?
Edit: if that wasn't a program and I have to use windows installer for it how do I approach that sorry I am such a noob. So basically how do I use windows installer for tilp? I am not sure how and what you mean by that.

You can download the latest Windows installer for TILP from http://ourl.ca/4010/347662 .
But you should keep using TI's software, most people find it more newbie-friendly than TILP is... Until further notice, TI's software does not upgrade your calculator's OS unless you allow it to.

What is the ti  software called?

Because I am using the ti computer link software. When I go  in it asks me if I want to upgrade my calculator and I press no then when I drop my phoenix into nlaunch the folder I made under my documents it said upgrading is and has the same procedure as you would when you upgrade your is. So I am just scared it might upgrade my os.

TiLP isn't really necessary, you can just use TI Nspire Computer Link. Just make sure you never click OK when it asks you if you want to upgrade.
