Soooooo, Wabbit has some keypress delay stuffs, and I can't play it on Wabbit, but I PROMISE it is playable on calc

It's just a racing game... 'nuff said

The base engine's almost done, because of the simplicity of the game. All I need now is to do some hardcore track design. :D

I forgot to mention: It will just be a time trial type racing game. Simple==best, right? ;D

It looks great, the only thing is the text flashing at the top. You might want to try drawing it to the gbuf instead of directly to the screen. It'd probably make it run a bit faster, too. I like these kinds of racing games, though :)

also, having an option for racing against AIs is fun and can still be very simple (think excitebike), so maybe you could try your hand at adding them in after everything else is done?

Racing against a fellow human being is also fun. If you have time to implement multiplayer via the link cable that'd be awesome!

Yup, definitely. :D Try not to use Calc net though, because I don't want DCS on my calcs.

Update:

Good: I have a second track and the engine's much faster

Bad: Sorry, but 15mHz only. I have to use full for the timer interrupt to function properly and for the game to be smooth.

I'll post screenies as soon as I can!

Try a Fix 5 at the beginning and a Fix 4 at the end, it'll make Output() draw to buffer and make it look a bit nicer.
