Who needs backwards compatibility if you can have forward compatibility? The original gameboy was forward compatible with some special gbc games :D

Yeah /some/ GBC games that didn't use 8MHz were playable in greyscale on the GB. :D

the irony is that some of those games didn't even have enhanced colors in the Super Game Boy.

Shouldn't the 1DS have an 1D-screen?

EDIT: since DS stands for dual screen, it should actually have 2 1D screens. I wonder what kind of games you could play on that...

But until then nintendo forgot that DS stands for dual screen and they think it just sounds cool so they'll call it 1DS :P

@annoyingcalc: at least the ones you described fit in a pocket. I wouldn't mind your 1DS to come out (but lol, your 0DS is a bit unusable).

@DJ_O, I never heard of one. Maybe there was games using only sound on "regular" consoles too, but I still have never heard of them if any.

I remember hearing of at least one game that was made for blind people that only used sounds, but I don't remember hearing of more than that.
